It was just a bad play. There are some physical things you just cant avoid once they are in motion unfortunately. Sabonis fell down and it looks to me that Dray did all he could to not put his full weight on him. He didnt really have any where else to go after he got his leg caught up.

Also, "innocent people could be executed" is reason enough by itself to oppose it, regardless of anything else.

It's an extremely shit thing to do, but I strongly doubt this will actually do anything to stop plants from growing. You need a lot more salt than that to actually start affecting the arability of the land.

Like, it's not even sown into the soil. I'm pretty sure you could just get a shovel, scoop it up, then run some water over the top of it to dissolve any salt that you couldn't get earlier and then just let the natural drainage of the soil take care of it from there.
