She didn't in any of the others, either. Her whole personality is brooding about how she deserves to rule, and scowling. She's never won the darksaber, and has failed every single time she's tried to unite the people.

Hell, in rebels, an entire other mandalorian character has a brilliant arc where she wins the saber, grows into her own, starts 7niting the clans, all of it. Then they just abort the arc, and have her hand the saber to Bo Katan, I shit you not, one minute after meeting her. Given the state of the mandalorians at the start of Mandalorian, we can all see how well that went, offscreen.

She's literally space Hillary Clinton. A grumpy failure that nobody actually wants, but keeps getting pushed on us anyway.

Hm... Maybe she has learned from the past and will eventually recognize she's unfit. Hopefully this all just a red herring and they'll actually have either have her earn it or pass the torch to a more deserving character.

Surprised to see those guys. Fun episode. Still pushing Bo Katan as the savior really, really hard though.

I'm not really familiar with her character before this, but in this series she hasn't earned any of it.

I think so. I've come a long way in accepting how I look in the past few years. I wouldn't say it's a "I look good" moment, but more of a "not as bad as you thought" moment.

But, it still yo-yos between "not that bad" and thinking I'm a disgusting and good for nothing subhuman freak in a human skin that can operate just enough to pass as a person. So yeah, still not great sometimes, but the ups are higher and more common. So... That's a plus, I guess.

They mostly don't post here any more, and the ones that do still tolerate me well enough to not cause problems, thankfully. So I'm sure it'd bring a smile to their faces, I don't think it's something they're looking out for. I'm probably ignored anyway.

I still can't see how Dark Dawn is so much of a downgrade compared to its two precessors.

Golden sun: A group of kids discover a global catastrophy and work to prevent it, even against friends, to save the world.

Lost Age: Repurcussions from the first game threaten the world again, new alliances with former enemies are forged to come together and prevent extinction.

Dark Dawn: Further Repurcussions from the previous games arise and threaten to engulf the world. So you go fix a kite because your dad will be mad if you don't, then just circle back to the beginning as a cliffhanger.

That reminds me of my little 9 year old cousin that lives with me now. His parents were young, late teens when they had him. So I understand them not being ready to be a parent at that age, but now they're more d 20's. They both had the option of spending time with the kid, but they both refused. Like they wanted to forget he existed.

Anyway, the dad did in fact start spending a couple weekends with him each year. So things were looking to improve. But then his new gf got pregnant, and he told his son that he had to stop coming over because he was about to become a dad.

That pissed me right off. Imagine being told directly that he can't be a dad to you, because he's going to be a dad to someone else instead. Lost all respect for him then. The kid still idolizes his dad, even over all the broken promises and not seeing him for a year and being told that.

No, never had anyone in my life outside my immediate family. So that just left dad and my older brother. Neither of which were role model material.

I did buy it. Literally the only things I remember about it are that it sidetracks you from the main plot to force a sidequests to be the focus. And that at one point point you enter a bird's mouth and exit it's butt.

Way, way, waaaay beneath.

That was the point though. His job wasn't to attack the main ship. It was to be a distraction. Which he did.

I know, my complaint is more how easily the ship was taken down by basically a single fighter. That big ship couldn't survive a few pecks from a much smaller ship. I get it, they took out the engines, but like the whole ship was about as durable as wet paper.

Made the whole scenario feel ridiculous in hindsight. Greef gets threatened, and apparently has absolutely no defenses or fighters at all. Puts out a plea for help from the New Republic which is taken seriously by that one officer who insists it's a true threat. Then he goes out of his way to inform Din, who then rallies the entire Mandalorian crew to go save Navarro... Which was then done in 3 minutes by a single person with a distraction. Like, the resolution undermines everything that happened before that. It was too easy and simple of a problem to have caused such a big commotion before hand.

Feels like any amount of resistance from Navarro would've crumpled the pirates like paper. Instead we dedicate half the episode to them being in crisis mode only for Bo Katan to show up and wipe them off the planet with little to no effort. lol
It really gave me the same sense of poor execution as the Boba Fett bike chase scene, except narratively instead of visually.

Seriously. Bo Katan basically took them down solo with just a few shots. Din barely even attacked the main ship.

Good episode, starting to build up momentum. The pirates are kinda lame though, I forgot they even existed.

I had a bad mental breakdown and literally saw no way out. Freaked out and made a topic about it on here which got me blocked, but not before a lot of people suggested seeing someone about it. So, with no other options I spoke to my doctor and she got me set up.

I used to fall asleep with one of my arms extended straight up against the wall. Idk why, that's just how it happened. Anyway, in more than one occasion I was woken by my arm relaxing and falling fist first into my face. >_>

Sorry, the one I was raised by didn't care. Just had to have everyone's attention, good or bad. If he had to smash someone's window to get people talking about him, he would.

I disliked the CG art style when I saw the trailer, but it's not as bad as I thought. Really good show.

I tried once, after a total mental breakdown and people from here insisting. I stayed for around 6 months then stopped because it wasn't a good match with the therapist. That's been quite a few years ago, and I've been hesitant to try again.

Yeah, dad is a narcissistic sociopath. He can't comprehend or care about anyone outside himself. To him, we're just belongings. He's cruel, hateful, and violent. He always has been.

With his first wife, when she said she wasn't happy with him any more and she went to stay at her parents place. He followed and arrived right after. He got his baseball bat and said he was going to kill her and her parents, then proceeded to smash out all the windows and windshield of her car. Idk how that situation was resolved, that's as far as anyone's ever mentioned to me. But they did ultimately divorce.

Then it's the same deal with mom. Once they married, he constantly threatened her. That if she ever left him that he'd kill her parents and hang himself on their deck with a note saying it's all her fault.

Then my brother and me were born. He adores my brother, but despised me. I got the blame for everything going wrong in his life. He's find any excuse he could to insult me, constantly told everyone how pathetic and stupid I was. He never wanted to let me be seen because he was ashamed of me.

If me and mom ever went anywhere, like to the store or church on Sunday, he was waiting for us at the door with a gun. He'd interrogate us to find out who we spoke to and what was said. Kept telling me that he wished I was dead, and that he'd piss on my grave. He'd beat me just because he felt like it.

He used to tell me he hated me for not looking like him. He wanted me to have black hair and blue eyes like he does, but I have brown hair and green eyes instead. Several years ago he was cussing and insulting me, and I just straight up asked him why he treats me so badly, and he answered "It makes me feel like a big man."

So, yeah. Not even getting into the worst things he's done. I have tons of mental issues now, and I don't know how to properly function around others. It's literally halted my life in it's tracks, and I don't know how to break free.
