Not to mention when you beat a dungeon, you have to go all the way back through the dungeon and pray you have enough healing spells/items to get back safely. Dont fight every random encounter you come across. Use the run option when in dungeons, or on the world map when you come across enemies that arent worth the hassle (in the early game, fight ogres and creeps for solid exp & gil, but run from gray wolves, arachnids and asps). What's worse is that some spells are not only locked behind their magic level system, but it also requires you to have a limit on how many times you are allowed to cast before heading back to town and saving at an inn.
