I just have a bag of bags in my car at all times. Even if I take an unplanned trip to a store, I've got one or more bags I can use as needed. If I randomly decide to go pick stuff up when I'm on my way home from work and don't have my car (I usually walk or bike to work), I've got a backpack (and if I made a habit of making such trips and picking up more than I could carry with just the backpack, I could stick a bag or two in there).

I have a reusable bag, but havent seen it in years That said, I think it might have been tearing a little last time I saw it But Id definitely forget nearly every time Especially since Id probably be undressed by the time the groceries are out up Even on a planned trip, Id probably forget them And while I do have a backpack, my isnt that big, and usually full already And starting to tear, so it cant hold much the only time I carried an empty backpack to the store was in tech school. And it wasnt enough room. So, I got some guys from the dorm to help me carry stuff home. Though, luckily, they had plastic bags. Haha. Anyway, either way, my stores still give them out right now, which is good

Employees probably wouldnt make out The only thing they get is more days off But at what cost? Most companies arent going to just lie down and take it. Most will make things worse. For example, since they have to let more people have more time off, maybe theyll have to higher more people. And that could mean less hours for people who get paid wages instead of salaries But the company will say they have to do they can make sure they have enough people for when the others take leave Or they will give you more days, but make it harder to take them. Whether its through increased workload, or by making you have to fill out forms in advance before PTO And most will fight back in the no sick note since they dont want people just skipping out of work on a whim Which is probably why that wont get passed And the stuff I mentioned is stuff some places already do Forcing them to change how they operate will just make that stuff worse I dont think the change would be good here I just feel wed add one good thing, while making a few other things worse

But most people dont see needed a sick note as a problem Especially since in some cases, its easy to come by Not to mention, it helps to keep people who are just trying to skate out of work down Which we have a lot of at the jobs Ive had. And one job, calling in sick can essentially fuck up pretty much everything. 1 person is manageable. But anymore than that can really cause as issue, so I do understand And most places tell you how many days you get off when you decide to work there, so you can choose not to work there That said, many might choose what is their only option for a job right then while working to get a better one So, people probably dont see it as a problem

As for why a company that gives 30 days might stop giving that amount when mandated for two weeks, its because of spite If you just let people run their companies, things might be fine Once you start mandating changes, though, people can get mad. Forcing their companies to do certain things can make owners mad. You already see it with places that have to raise the minimum wage. They usually end up trying to make things worse for the employee overall But even in other companies, they get spiteful for people forcing them to change how they do stuff. Even at my job, it happens. When someone tries to tell us how to do our job and tried to change rules, well be spiteful and follow the new rule to the tee to basically show them why its a bad idea Could we work around it? Possibly But if its a rule thats not needed and could make things worse, why would we. And before you say that the new mandates wont make things worse, it depends on how the company sees it So, while you think they may keep it at 30, theres a good chance they might not Also, there are a few other reasons, though I cant say how common they actually are

The company usually doesnt have to try as hard since people will need those jobs Even if they dont have the best benefits or sick/time off policies Especially if its not something they use as much Having a company offering more only matters if you can get a position there. If everyone else if applying, you may not get the job. But since you need money, might still work the one that doesnt offer the same benefits because, in the end, you still need money to survive

Here we get 2 weeks leave (by law), my workplace offers 2 weeks more - 28 days total.
+2 weeks medical days (by law? iirc)
+30 days unpaid leave

There are companies here that may give more, less, or no days at all depending on the industry but that's on top of the required days. People are still entitled to their minimum of 2 weeks and sick days regardless of what work they're in.

Like I said, the places Ive worked (as an adult), I had lots of time off for whatever reasons Its just not all places are like that That said, Im sure if that was made a law in the US, many places would switch to just that amount Including some places that already give more But thats just a guess based on what I know about places here Which is why I said it might be better if they dont mandate it

For me, I just like what I get Having stipulations like that would end up netting me less time off overall. That map tricked me good Haha. At first, I was like whats the big deal. She kept destroying stuff, but nothing was changing. And then, my group split up. Some stayed back to handle the reinforcements that kept coming Then she blew up a piece she already destroyed and I saw it was now passable. I was like, thats whats fucking happening It was a mad dash. But the forward group split up, too I had left 4 behind while six went forward. So, Anna went back to help on her own through the bottom path. Chlo did too, but took a more direct path up top. Alear and Diamant went up, but had a longer path. While Yunaka and Citrinne took a bottom path together It was a little exciting Then Camilla decided she came to kill It took a few resets to find where to place everyone But Framme could take a hit, which allowed me to destroy Camilla But I actually enjoyed that surprise Ot reminds me of the Fates maps (the one where Camilla joins) because of the mad scramble to get everyone into other positions once shit changes

Sick call wasn't awful for me. Since I was ATC we had to go to flight med and they would DNIC you for anything. Even if I had to go back to work, is roll up with my DNIC paperwork and would get a nice cushy day of not working hard while my chief controller just got pissed lol.

For us, it was horrible Not to mention, out doctors were not the best

I've only had that in the Air Force where they required you to go to sick call and get treated so you get back to work as soon as possible.

Sick call is hot mess Its barely worth the trouble. And it only really works for days Sometimes, swings can use it But its useless for midshift. And the rules are ridiculous. Some guy had to have an escort take him there. And they were mad about him not calling. So, he called them while standing right in front of them

Honestly I prefer when sick and vacation time are lumped into just 1 pool. My company had them separate for the first 3 years I was here, then they switched it last year to combine them and also giving us an extra floating holiday. I don't get sick often so it's more vacation time for me.

I dont mind keeping mine separated, tbh That said, if I just needed an extra day, I could always call in sick But I dont actually have to call in. I usually just let my co-workers know I wont be there and its cool

The DLC paralogues scale to Alear's internal level, so just promoting Alear alone won't actually make them any easier, In fact, I believe it makes them slightly harder because I think the promotion counts as +1 to Alear's internal level. I would hold off on trying the Tiki paralogue again until after you beat chapter 9 (so you'll have more characters and those additional seals/promotions to work with) and I would avoid using Alear as much as possible until then to keep them from leveling up more. After chapter 9 is when I beat the Tiki paralogue myself.

They could also just do a couple skirmishes without Alear to raise a few other levels to make them easier, as well

For me, I did the Tiki paralogue as soon as it opened. The others I did just now either last night or earlier today (only because they are new and I couldnt have done them earlier) That said, Tiki was probably the one I had the hardest time with

Its true that you dont in a marriage or relationship with the goal or getting divorced (in most cases) But what Im saying is I still wouldnt call it a lose/lose situation Regardless of if youre breaking your vows or not, leaving an abusive relationship is always a win That said, the other person already broke their vows if youre in an abusive relationship, so at point, I dont think the bows even matter
