| rexcrk 03/18/23 1:39:58 PM #37 | pojr posted... ok i might be in the minority, but i dont think the current show is as bad as people make it out to be. the show is catered to today's audience, so those who don't like it are probably retro fans of the show who wish it would "go back to the basics". if the show tried to strictly cater to the retro fans, no current fans would find it appealing. if the show doesn't adapt to current culture, it won't last. so i think their tactic of accommodating current viewers while occasionally dazzling retro fans is a nice idea. This. Its nowhere near as bad as its made out to be. I hate how much of a thing it became to say current Simpsons is so bad! Its obviously not as good as the first eight seasons, but its still completely watchable. I also think its funny how the last good season keeps moving up too used to be 8 is the last good season! then its only good up until season 10 then the show is only good up until season 13. A lot of skilled labor jobs rely on the person being available and knowledgeable in case shit hits the fan. Working in IT, I put in a couple hours a day of actual work and am on standby in case things break the rest of the day. Hell that's the foundation of any gov't office worker job. Those gov't jobs are mind numbing at how slow they are.Honestly I just want a job where Im not sitting on my ass all day while I wait for the phone to ring to get harassed by customers. I have no problem doing office work, but, again, Im so done with customers lol. I dont really have any good skills though. At least nothing that really sets me apart from anyone else. Only thing I hated (and still do) is that, up until a little before KHIII came out, in order to play all the games in the series, you needed 3 or 4 + consoles. They shouldve never gotten involved with all the handheld nonsense and just stuck to making quality games on home consoles. Id rather have five REALLY GOOD games than two good games and five meh ones.
