Yes but no.

I mean, they are a waste of money. A $10 casio can tell the time better. Your phone will give you the time for free.

But are ferraris, lambos, etc a waste of money? Yes. Is jewelry a waste of money? Yes. Are brand clothing a waste of money? Yes. It's the same thing.

People could all drive $10k toyotas, wear $20 wal mart brand shirts, and have $10 casios... but not everybody does.

Haven't heard that but they are changing their policy with the tokens they give for browsing. It's convoluted but you could use the tokens to tip content creators and artists, or donate to Wikipedia or a charity, or convert it to crypto. All just for browsing.

They're making that more difficult (or impossible, in some places like Germany and Australia) starting in April.

This reminds me... I've been wondering how countries that use 24-hour time instead of AM and PM use analog clocks. Do they still use the 1-12 clocks even though that would only encompass half of the day? Do they have to add add 12 to the current number if it's in the afternoon?
They'll have 00 or 24 under the 12 in smaller numbers, usually red. Then 13 under the 1, 14 under the 2 and so on.

Are you good with macros and automation using Excel? I've seen people use scripts with Excel to auto-generate things. It's pretty crazy.
It's a very powerful program. And even if it is replaced by something else in 5 years (I doubt it) that's 5 years to learn other skills, get more certs (which the employer may pay for/or could be written off), build a resume and move on to something better. Almost nobody does 20 years with the same employer anymore.

About $200 and pass a two day (or XX hours) course. I've been toying with getting the cert myself. I'm above average but really just know the basics. Not looking for a new gig because I work for myself.

As someone else said ITT, the cert will get you a look. As I said, that look is usually for some collateral duty. You gotta bring something else too. YMMV. Good luck.

Yeah, sweet marinara on pizza gives me the shivers.

I've asked this before, but what exactly is the end goal here? What's gonna happen when the system is flooded with unwanted babies?
If the book Freakonomics is to be believed, abortion helped lower the high crime rates of the '70's & '80's to the more manageable levels seen in the 1990s and early 2000s.

If there's an increase in unwanted pregnancies now....well, we'll see what happens.
