The DCEU isn't cohesive and established enough for him to be throwing his weight around the way Chris Evans or RDJ could have done in the MCU. Even then, RDJ asking them to remove any scenes with Paltrow when they'd already done the movie would have probably gotten him laughed out of the office.

Aquaman made over a billion dollars, thats way more than even The Batman made. He definitely has enough pull in his franchise.
