It's a mostly linear JRPG with a battle system that's heavily on the action side of the genre and a secondary battle system introduced halfway in which is bullet hell.

There's already 3 games which do it: Awakening, TMS, and Heroes. There's zero indication that Engage is adding anything meaningfully new or different to this idea, so pitching "reusing past characters" as the main selling point of the game isn't exciting at all anymore. It's on Engage to prove it has a fresh take on this compared to previous games and isn't just a cheap nostalgia ploy.

I'd be more interested if I hadn't already played enough Fire Emblem Heroes for a lifetime. I'll need a lot of convincing this isn't just Heroes reimagined as a console game.

I want a Pokemon game by the Yakuza team where you still have turn based Pokemon battles but there's also a second battle system where your trainer fights humans fist-to-fist like in Yakuza, and some times the two types of battles happen concurrently. Sort of like Legends: Arceus's boss battles but even more chaotic.

Definitely later. $100k is certainly a lot but not really life changing for where I'm currently at. $45 million means I can just retire as soon as I get it. An added benefit of the latter is even if I happen to not live another 25 years, I can at least not worry about saving money as much for those 25 years so I can still benefit from it.

Donkey Kong wins pretty easily. Max's time powers aren't that useful in battle unless you have strength and skill to back it up, and Max lacks those.

I feel that Advance Wars 1 was the more creative game. Its campaign had a lot of branching paths, COs had animations reacting to each skirmish instead of just being static, COs felt a little more unique overall although I'll admit a lot of them were too weak, the plot at least tried to do something sort of interesting instead of just being a bunch of filler. AW2 can feel too sanitized and bland in comparison. Though I'll admit that AW2 does what it sets out to do a lot better than AW1 does its stuff overall, so I see how AW2 is the better game too.

Advance Wars 1. But this poll is pointless since it's obvious that Black Hole Rising would win.

It felt like it took forever for Persona 5 to come out, but we're actually starting to approach the point where the amount of time between 5 and 6 (6 years currently) is greater than the amount of time between 4 and 5 (8 years going by Japan release dates). Hopefully we get Persona 6 in 2024 or 2025...
