Okay - wild take upcoming.
Now I have very poor mental health, I'm terrible with money, I'm incredibly irresponsible, I've been a pervert since I was like 5 years old -- I'm by no means a "good" adult. Hell - I've posted here on and off for over a decade and only have like 400 karma or something from so many bans.

But I really think that the whole Peter Pan-ism is pretty big nowadays -- not just because of Superhero, Disney, PG sci-fi media, etc. but the way people think in "good" and "bad" dichotomies and the simplistic way most people approach political discourse nowadays, the popularity of stuff like DDLG and age regression, etc.

I don't think it was a minority at all with those sites. Liveleak maybe was a minority. Plus liveleak was ogrish rebranded and was mostly carry-over from the people who regulared ogrish. I don't think it had much of a new audience.
And I'm referring to the fact that gen z will tear people apart on social media if they say they killed a spider or fly or something.

Fell Seal has really ugly graphics and a really, really shitty story -- but it's literally like FFT with tons more classes. There's even stat-growth shown on the class change screen. In so many ways it's an improvement on FFT gameplay-wise, other than the fact that some of the reaction abilities and the like are a little less interesting/game-breaking.

I haven't played Langrisser Mobile in probably at least over a year, but back when I regularly played it I really enjoyed it. It's not like the other Langrisser games because you don't control armies -- you control individual units. Some of the content was also incredibly challenging, even with premium units. Being a mobile game it didn't have a ton of depth, but the levels and challenges were very, very well designed.

Any opinions on Brigandine grand cross edition? If I understand it correctly it's the definitive version but only has been released on Japan. There is a fan translation, and then there's a cross mod with fan balance changes. Is this the best way to play PSX Brigandine?

I tried playing Brigandine on emulator a few times, since I know it's considered the closest game to Ogre Battle. I was kind of confused with the initial gameplay and didn't feel like looking into it more. I don't know what you're referring to exactly with the grand cross edition? I know there's the Switch version -- is that a remaster or a sequel?

Like there are pockets of heavily Indian areas. I live in one. My girlfriend's dad and step-mom are both from India. Did they, and all the restaurants here suddenly forget how to make Indian food?

And the Brits with their tikka masala and super white-ified bullshit is more authentic somehow?

The game that disappoints me the most is Hoshigami. Like I want to love the game as much as I do in the early game - but it quickly gets too magic-focused. I love how the actions work, the real-time events for the attacks, how the spell-crafting works, the knockback and combos, etc.

Like I seriously love the first few hours of Hoshigami.

I know people complain about the story of the sequel - but the gameplay is so much better. There's more diversity in the classes and quests, the laws aren't as restrictive to gameplay/the maps with special rules actually make sense and are tailored to the maps themselves, and I like the crafting system a ton.

  1. I have mental health issues and have my entire life. I'm not perfect. I can lose control easily.
  2. I explained why I didn't like being associated with CEmen, particularly their views on weight and money. There isn't a single worse insult a person could throw at me, considering I literally work in dietetics and I've considered doing social work -- the issues where I differ from the majority of CE are very important to me. No amount of explaining seemed to change the way people here acted, because the internet allows some semblance of anonymity and protection. In the case that we're talking about in the OP there's no internet to hide behind. I've confronted strangers in real life for treating workers poorly, making prejudiced comments, etc. When you're causing public embarrassment there's a chance for a lesson to be learned because guards are down; the internet doesn't allow lessons to be learned because the footprint never leaves, even if/when a lesson is learned.

White pudding is a lot more popular in Ireland, than it is in England (where it's quite a specialty item) -- whereas it's a mainstay in a lot of Full Irish Breakfasts.
