I don't think killing children is a good or ideal thing, and in the vast majority of situations it should not be done.

My example is one of the only times in which I think the necessity of cutting off all paths of return for a overthrown monarch etc. of it outway the morally repulsive nature of it.

People don't have to have clinical depression to be suffering from depression.

I've been diagnosed with persistent depressive disorder which is likely in my situation to be a life long thing.

Most cases of people being depressed likely are a form of persistent depressive disorder, but it's under diagnosed since it requires symptoms.to be present for at least two years.

A lot of people don't even realize it is depression as well. Before I happened upon a video discussing dysthymia (what PDD used to be called), I know thought I was generally just naturally a downer, but it changed my perspective a lot. Eventually seeing a therapist and confirming that I was suffering from a depression disorder was life altering. It gave me something concrete to describe what I experienced, it meant I could approach it with healing and mitigation in mind.

Obviously, it's still here. Varies a lot, right now I'm sinking into a deeper depression than usual, but I know that when that passes....I'm still going to have to manage my baseline.

So please, don't erase us who suffer because we aren't diagnosed with MDD.

You learn to heal and develop healthy behaviors that allow you to come to terms with the trauma you've gone through.

Really think the core thing is finding people that will aid you in your healing, community is the best way to avoid letting suffering and trauma harden you.

But like.. we dont really know a whole lot about mental health and hormones especially when it comes to development nobody does. Were just not there yet. And i dont wanna be the bearer of bad news but the statistics on these cases are terrifying. The good it does is incomparable i believe even some of the people supporting this arent who you think they are and are in fact against the agenda you stand by. Be aware of that

Fwiw, when I eat better - still depressed

When I exercise - feel better for about 20 minutes afterwards, but still depressed.

When I go to therapy - still depressed but I learn to handle it better.

When I take my medication - still depressed, but it makes the symptoms much more manageable.

And side effects? I know about that full well. My current medication kicks my ass if I forget even one dose, but I'm confident in saying that medication largely does far more good than harm.
