Make TES irrelevant. The Pillars world is so much more interesting and I hope people get the chance to learn this without the next Bethesda disappointment looming directly overhead

People who think this way are just blinded by nostalgia mostly.

The quality of a given thing will vary over time, but what you remember from the past tends to be the good that stuck with you only. There is plenty of garbage out there that you'll never think about again.

Plenty of great stuff coming out every year in all artistic mediums. Amazing video games, fantastic music, television breaking away from having to be driven by public broadcasting networks had given shows much more freedom to do what they want, movies I can't comment on because I generally don't watch or care for them in general.

I look back on the 90s/early 00s fondly in some aspects, but imagine thinking that what you listened to then is the pinnacle of everything ever. It's fucking embarrassing. It's literally no different than the gen x types still thinking hair metal is the greatest thing ever.

Give indie devs a chance, listen to some small label musicians work. Put some fucking effort into your entertainment and you'll be rewarded. There is *literally* something for everyone in this year of Our Lady 2022.

Israel is a bigger threat to the world than basically any country other than Russia, but they have the US on a leash so no one will ever challenge them for their crimes.

I don't get how people think that.

The side quests are with the exception of two the island and the town building are uninteresting and unrewarding. This primarily stems from the core issue I have with the game - the decision to give you all of the items right at the start of the game.

By only having such a limited arsenal compared to past Zelda games everything started to feel the same after a while.

Sure, there are some creative uses of all the items throughout, but it just wasn't enough and the outfits didn't provide enough of a transformative effect to make up for it.

Crafting was not done well at all, and being able to pause and eat 3 durian or whatever just made every fight have zero consequences for sloppy gameplay.

Nice. Game was very good

Not close to Super Metroid, but does challenge Zero Mission for second best in the series

BotW is a good game. It does a lot of things right, but it does a lot of things poorly too. It's far from this perfect game people try to make it seem like it is.

I don't especially care, but the more I think about who I am and how I was to exist and present myself the more I just want to not be viewed as male.

I don't especially need to be hyperfemme or anything, or even pass as cis. Everyone should present how they want, and for me that is just "be cute" regardless of if that passes or not.

I don't really even like the idea of "passing" as a concept. It leads to such frustrating amounts of pressure placed on people. It leads to feelings of inadequacy. It personally lead me to just stagnate.

"I can't do this because I'll not look good enough"

"I want to manage my depression before I try. I'll never be happy with how I look if I'm still depressed" (this one is particularly heinous because it was a convenient reason that is actually perpetually present as I will never not be depressed)

As I said, if it's a goal for you, that's fine. I just wish we lived in a world where there wasn't pressure to do so to be "taken seriously" and to maximize your safety
