Oh apparently the servers actually did crash for real and Blizz had to take them down lol oh well. I actually got to play more than I expected to. And also I played a lot of new maps! Some cool new design, but often times I had trouble finding healthpacks. Like I'd run around for 2 minutes and not find a single one.

Okay surprisingly I actually got to play for like an hour before I got randomly kicked from servers melting. I like how it looks. I like how it sounds. It feels really slow though compared to OW1? Like maybe 5% slower? Idk. Also do I seriously have to requeue after every match? Theres no auto queue? Is that right or am I missing something?

Im just morbidly curious to see for myself what this is like. Instant 20,000 player queue. Was about to give up and try tomorrow after 15 minutes then it just shot down to 10k. I assume its going to get to less than 1000 then just kick me from queue because Blizzard.

So I always thought that goats could walk on powdered snow, and I learned something last night.

Also, this sugarcane farm has been here since I started base. It's ugly. It's slow. It takes up far too much space. I'm going to get rid of it, and build an automatic sugarcane farm.

But, I don't know when I'm going to get to all of this. I got a lot done this weekend, and I want to play more, but my FFXIV static is finally coming back from hiatus this week, and we're gonna make a really strong push to finally clear p8s. We got to phase 1 enrage 2 weeks ago, then we had to stop raiding for 2 weeks for various reasons. So idk when the next time I'm gonna play Minecraft is.

Edit: Oh, also! As you can see I got rid of the bamboo farm. I have literally like 3 double chests full of bamboo, I don't need more for the time being. But, also, I might incorporate bamboo into the automatic sugarcane farm when I do build that, so that I'll still be able to farm a little bamboo here and there. Also getting rid of the bamboo really changed the skyline of my base. :0

And I'm gonna be able to look in there from an underground passageway around the aquarium. The kelp is to farm a little kelp while I'm running around my base smelting the glass and stuff, but it's also to ensure all the water in there are source blocks.

My current project, an underground aquarium! I decided that since I want to find some spore blossoms, that while I'm at it I should find more axolotls. So I'm gonna breed them in here!

Only 2 survived the trip. >_> I went back to find more goats. I found one, took him home, and I also found and tamed this calico cat!

Found a bunch of goats and got them on leads and took them back to my base. Built a goat pen for them, I made sure it was fully enclosed cus I know they can jump like 10 blocks. Unfortunately... uh... there was... an accident...

And for some reason GameFAQs won't let me post the other image from on top of the hill. Oh well. I kinda want to fight the Wither a few more times to make some more speed beacons throughout the base.

Also behind the chorus fruit farm there's a bridge across another river and that's where the apiary is. Which, I have been going to regularly to get honey and wax, for whenever I decide to use those in a build.

It's a potion brewing station! the inside is hollow, but the inside of the cap is separate from the stem. Idk yet if I want to use the inside of the cap for anything. I want to get some spore blossoms and put a couple on the inside and the outside.

Also I've been farming giant mushrooms for a secret project.

Also I figured out I can bonemeal nylium to farm Nether fungi, so now I have a way to farm the nether woods and shroomlight, which will come in handy!

Spent several hours farming dark oak trees to make this. It's a giant hollowed out tree trunk

And I upgraded my kiln, I increased the lava capacity by 4 times, from 8 to 32. I also finally put floating lights over my wheat farm.

Took me long enough to do these things. lol

I plan to actually build out my base, all of these things will be very useful. I did find a mangrove swamp, would be nice to get a froglight farm going.

Because setting the precedent that nuclear weapons are okay to use isnt something anyone wants, so the first country that goes ahead with it will have to be made an example of. Also we already know that the DOD is communicating with Russia what the response will be if they use one.

Also Russian diplomat Dmitry Peskov reiterated today that specifically what Russian military doctrine says about the use of nuclear weapons is they are only to be used as a last ditch effort in a defensive war, and that Russia really can't make the argument that they are in any way, shape or form in a defensive war. Essentially, Peskov says Putin and Medvedev are full of shit and to ignore them.

Don't worry, we won't. It's extremely unlikely that Putin will opt to use a nuclear weapon in Ukraine, it's far too risky, serves exactly no benefit for him, and would lead to his death and whatever would remain of Russia after the war would be split between the US, Europe, and China. Russia as a country would be a thing of the past. And the US is having private discussions with Russia, and is explaining all of this to them in far more detail.

Also, Reddit is fucking nuts. I pointed it out to them that this is more or less a symbolic act against Russia, and I got ganged up on by people telling me I don't know what I'm talking about, and they're going to be full members by next week, there's going to be a no fly zone over Ukraine tonight, all this other bullshit that doesn't make sense if you think about it for 2 seconds.

Unfortunately, they are not likely to be accepted in. Every member state needs to agree, and Hungary and Turkey will not agree.

Also, Minecraft Live in 2 weeks, where we'll learn what 1.20 is, and possibly also 1.21. Everyone keeps saying 1.20 will be the Deep Dark Portal being opened. No way. That would be very repetitive to basically do Caves and Cliffs part 4. They still need to add the warm biomes updates they promised, and they need to update The End, which they said they would not add a fourth dimension until they update The End.

Also also, everyone is expecting the Deep Dark portal to lead to a sculk dimension. No way, there would be no reason to go there, we already have an entire sculk biome and structure. Whenever they do add the fourth dimension, it's going to be something nobody is expecting. And with Kingbdogz being behind the Deep Dark and Ancient Cities, and presumably whatever is behind the portal, it's going to be something new and unique and really cool.

Also battle passes. And they cost $10. And you need to complete the battle pass to unlock new heroes. And you need to unlock new heroes to queue for competitive. Fucking great, everything Blizzard touches fucking dies.

Also somebody crunched the numbers, it takes like 8 months of playing basically a fully time job to catch up to the people that bought the battlepass.
