Tidus: You have played only one game as a player, and honestly its way too soon for you to host as there are still basic concepts of the game I don't think you're aware of yet. Having Plum as a cohost though should help, but I strongly suggest you confer with him before acting about anything, ESPECIALLY regarding modkills or replacements. The host's job is to start and end day and enforce roles. When lieing is a part of the core mechanics of the game, suggesting you'll kick someone out for it makes very little sense. Wanting everyone to have fun is every host's want, but how they have that fun is not up to you. You're an enforcer. Someone claims cop as vanilla? Not your problem. Someone threatens someone life IRL saying something like "You lynch me and I'll kill your family" is when you say 'hold up' and act. Truly, aside from posting vote updates, the host should be invisible to the topic during the game day.

I also urge you to confer with Plum before starting days, as since you're new you may not know the order of operations concerning certain roles and how they interact with each other

As far as corrik goes, his play can rile someone up, but its along the same veins as ulti as thats its purpose. My only pause on letting corrik in would be because in recent games he has ended up getting banned from GameFAQs itself and made him unable to finish games. His actions outside the game though caused that, not in the game itself.

You mean when someone went and marked 30 posts made in previous days for a website that was posted openly in a topic title repeatedly since then. Hardly something I could have stopped there. I mean, they didn't even give me a chance to not further post it. They went back in time to get the necessary moderations to warn me.

I mean, there was nothing to suggest that was even a moderation. You literally had Rock who would make topics with the website of where he went to enjoy camgirls repeatedly. I said someone joined a website and a topic ensued, and only after 3 days they marked me and then went back and marked me for all the prior days to get me warned. That was kinda wild. Then again, we did have a game where someone got marked repeatedly for calling someone scum before and had multiples of moderations handed out to them for calling them scum back in time also... So, I guess the precedent was there to do that, but it wasn't something I could have avoided when the first moderation hit.

It's a supernatural thriller I suppose. About an entity that dwells in a pool of water and the events that unfurl in regards to it and the townsfolk.

yeah, I really haven't played a lot of video games lately, to be honest. If anything, I've been playing old games like Rome Total War or Age of Empires II lol

I appreciate it! Leaving news was hard, but it's been the best thing I could have done for my mental health. Got a few irons in the fire, and hoping they come through in the next few days

Last year or so I have found it hard to enjoy the things I usually enjoy, which includes video games, so I have been sparse with them too. Trying to kick that feeling and get back into things, but it has been hard. Really wanna finish Halo Infinite one day and play a lot of the games that have amassed in my backlog now. So, I hear ya.

Hope everything goes good in the next few days for you.

Depends if Elderscrolls, Fallout, Starfield, Halo, Fable, Forza, and Gears are more of your jam or if Spider-man, God of War, Horizon, Uncharted, Gran Turismo, Persona, and Final Fantasy are more of your jam.

Recommendation I should've mentioned the other day:

Sphere by Michael Crichton. A group of scientists investigate a mysterious spaceship that's discovered on the ocean floor. I won't spoil other than saying that it gets weird, creepy, and fun.

Regulators is worse for sure. It's almost like a fan fic version of it. Not saying you will like desperation, but I did.

I also do have dark matter in hard back.

Desperation was my favorite Stephen King book. And the 2nd of your two books sounded interesting Plasma.

After watching season 2 of Hill House, I think I am good on Lady in the Lake. I didn't like that season.

So right now I think 11/23/63, Misery, and Dark Matter sound decent. I might have Dark Matter on hardback actually. I'll have to look.

I couldn't get into Altered Carbon on Netflix for some reason.

Got like $80 of amazon credit and never used my Kindle yet. Give me some suggestions for books.

I like horror, mystery, thriller, sci-fi, fantasy, historical, non fiction on interesting things.
