Lisbon is a very walkable city. Its gorgeous with some amazing viewpoints. I was only there 4 days. But I suggest doing a daytrip out of Lisbon. I only had time for 1 daytrip outside lisbon and I went to Sintra. But if youre there for 7 days in Lisbon you can do 2 day trips.

i suggest taking the tram and visit the many viewpoints of the city. Visit Belem. I didnt get a chance to go across that huge red bridge and visit the Christ statue but it might be worth checking out.

enjoy it man, eating out is pretty affordable. Just walk around, take it slow take in all the sights. stop by a cafe, sit out in front of the cafe and get an espresso and eat pastries. they even serve beer at McDonalds

In terms of their theories? Not really since pretty much everything they came up with would be rejected by modern psychological standards due to the lack of evidence and massive credibility flaws in their research.

Hard disagree on everyone saying Jurassic Park. The movie's a classic, and the visuals still hold up incredibly well, but the film's plot is a shell of the book's. Tons of stuff left out, tons of stuff changed just for the action.

I distinguish between the two because neo Nazi seems more accurate than Nazi in most cases. Whether or not its important probably depends on the context. In most cases its probably not. Its not something I correct other people over, and its not something Id have commented on if someone else hadnt mentioned it first.

In which context do you feel it's important to distinguish it? All contexts I can think of are in the realms of academia...

That was quite spooky - I loved the twists at the end of most episodes.
I find Black Mirror alright (some episodes better than others), but it doesn't feel nearly as "varied" as Outer Limits.

Interesting.. I actually liked most of the BM episodes more than the average OL episodes, maybe because of high production values and deeper plots.. but some of the OL just creeped me out in a way no BM ep did. There was also a BM episode that had the same premise as an OL episode soldiers perceptions being altered but took it further with an even more twisted ending.

My favorite Outer Limits episode about Aliens is the Cowboy one, where he's given powers, and at the end After seeing what humans are capable of - brother turning against brother, friend against friend - the scout is confident that his people have nothing to fear from humanity, who will surely destroy themselves before they can build an interstellar empire of their own. Thus by being crap humans, the outlaws have saved earth.

I remember that one!! I also liked the one with the exploration/mining ship finding the juvenile aliens that turned out to be scouts camping

The gist of it was that Ukraine was offered independence as a separate republic to get Ukraine on their Bolshevik side vs the White Russian counter-revolutionaries. He also blamed Stalin for shuffling the borders of Eastern Europe, adding some Polish and Romanian lands to Ukraine. Then he attacked Khrushchev for giving Crimea to Ukraine (Crimea was part of the Russian Soviet Socialist Republic until the 50s when Khrushchev added it to the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic). This created the artificial Ukraine.

There was a really good Outer Limits episode similar to this were aliens were detected heading towards earth, and a newly elected US president who had campaigned on "Let us be your friend" had to decide how much to trust his beliefs versus the Russian president's wariness/suspicions of the alien's intentions.
