Without regular medicine I most likely would have died to a fever / infection in high school. That's probably the closest anything has ever been to killing me.

Seraphim are just the highest rank of angels. The most prominent angels in the bible are very low ranked. Seraphim are God's personal bodyguards.

Kotlin is the standard for Android but games aren't exactly standard. They have different requirements than regular applications. Kotlin also has no real world usage outside of Android (despite once being billed as the Java killer) so unless you plan to only ever make Android apps it's a useless skill.

There are, btw, some stupidly complex games made in RPG maker. There's even a few online games made in RPG maker. The limit is your coding ability.

I'm thinking of backing it, but I wouldn't be bothering with the sticker crap (I like the fact that they have the replayability pack with it) and mainly want it to add it as an expansion. I don't play enough two-player stuff to do a campaign with anyone.

Obviously legacy games have their following, but I think they're stupid poorly disguised money-making schemes if they don't have a way to reverse the changes.

The campaign has up to 6 players unless I horribly misunderstood something on the website.

Most legacy games these days are following a pattern of the changes just being shit you write down on easily replaced paper scraps. I guess selling people on $100 for a board game that you have to buy again if you want to play again didn't have a wide enough appeal to make production worth it.

China has alright laws for guns IMO.

Pistols for home defense only.

No carry in city allowed at all.

Long guns for hunting.

They got like 1/4th the gun violence rate that we do.

Im gonna buy the Pinup Disciple of Witch miniature for sure tho. Thats wild on some of them having hundreds of parts, out of curiosity, do you have the Watcher one? That one looks amazing but I dont think its available as a single.

The watcher IIRC is the final boss.

The way the game works is you have hunts, the base three are white lion (easiest one), screaming antelope (mid tier), and Phoenix (hardest)n and you have to hunt and kill one (your choice) during a lantern year except there's also a nemesis (butcher, King's man, and Watcher) and they can't be hunted but they will show up to attack you and the watcher is the final nemesis. If you beat him, that's the end of the game.

I've never made it past the king's man.

Even with Phoenix items the dude seems fucking impossible.

Looked up that Kingdom Death Monster game, pretty outrageous pricing but it seems fun. How long does a campaign usually take? I might buy one of the miniatures tbh.

I've never finished it but IRL the monster minis are like dozens / hundreds of tiny parts that have to be assembled and not for people who aren't into that kind of stuff. The characters are only a few pieces you can put together easily.

If you just want to play it, it's on tabletop simulator. A game takes longer as time goes on but around 3 hours is enough to do 1 or 2 lantern years. The game ends when everyone dies. Except not really as long as people are left alive in the village you keep playing. There's a final boss but I've never made it that far. There's also optional rules for fighting level 4 monsters if you beat the game and just want to keep playing.

I give food because

1. I'm mostly concerned about being scammed. I don't mind being scammed out of a burger at least that's not useful to the scammer.
2. Giving cash to homeless people makes them targets for mugging.

I don't really care about drugs & alcohol. If a homeless dude asked me for a bottle from my 6 pack I just got I'd probably give him one

Almost missed this topic. Only legacy games I've tried are Gloomhaven and Aeons End: Outcasts. Currently waiting on Frosthaven. Not keen on destroying components, but I am interested in progression of content/story

This game has some kind of "infinite reset" pack but it's extra. It's in the bundle in backed though.

Not worth an hour drive. They're really good though. I prefer the minis they're easier to eat.

It's less income so they report less on their 1099 but it's not really "deductible" and then they still have to pay property taxes.

Make them suffer untill they drop the rent.

I'm sure landlords are just raking in the cash what with getting nothing in rent because of vacancies and then vagrants everywhere ruining the price of their property.
