Switch to just eating poultry and fish and supplement with meatless meats. It's a fair middle ground until lab grown meats become affordable and widespread.

I love how Kirby games toss all this dark shit in at the end that feels so out of place, going back to the NES even.

Tbqh I think HAL has outdone anything Nintendo's studios have done in a long time, with this game. Legit looks like something made by a big budget, third party dev.

IMO it's better than 3D Mario games have been lately, in terms of pure game design. I think HAL has proven they're better than any of Nintendo's in-house teams, with this game.

Yes. Legit one of the best games on the Switch.

The difficulty level starts off typically easy like a Kirby game, but changes to be on par with 3D Mario games, and by the last levels its harder than 3D Mario tends to be.
(That's with Hard mode turned on. I assume without that, it's stupid easy)

Not at all. Personally, I hate the creative philosophy that a lot of writers/designers have that an audience needs to be able to see themselves in a media work, or relate to one of the characters.

Great example is general-audience cartoons. Even if the cast is mainly adult, there's allllways a token kid character, even if they don't really fit in or make sense to be there.

I agree with this. I totally understand the idea that from first glance you could see someone like Hydra "dominate" a fight but cause no meaningful damage, and it clashes with the judge's decision. But awarding a victory to someone for flashy displays starts heading the sport into a weird direction that furthers it from being legitimate competition, and more towards pure entertainment IMO.

Like, if non-damaging, but successful, attacks can count for points, what do you do about flames then? How many attacks does 5 second of fire count for? It's a tough conversation the rule committee has to think about

I was wondering about that. Rouge is one of the more out-there Sonic character designs... Not that the furries look perfect in live action, but I think they look decent enough. I dunno how well they could get a CGI Rouge to fit in lol.

My play style is generally to play a character until I lose, or win 4 or 5 in a row, because it's not fun for me or most other players to do the same match over and over again, let alone for 2 1/2 hours lol. I like variety and I'm not pro level so there's no point for me to play the same character every game \_()_/

Even with Minotaur's gyro control, I expected that Minotaur count-out as much Witch Doctor's team. When that didn't happen, Witch Doctor hurt itself by not being more aggressive.

It's been explained a billion times all over social media, but the reason they stopped attacking was because their ref kept telling them to expect Minotaur to be counted out at any moment. Minotaur's ref was planning to start a countdown but Team Riobotz was aggressively telling him not to and insisting he had control.
As per the rules, a count-out will not take place if a bot is actively engaging their opponent, and so Witch Doctor held off on attacking, believing that a countdown was going to take place any moment, for a moment straight, due to what their ref was telling them. See what happened to Rotator in the Round of 16 for why to hold off on attacking a compromised opponent. Rotator had the match in the bag, but insisted on attacking, which prevented a count-out, and the tide of battle turned against them and they lost.

Witch Doctor vs Minotaur should've been a double count-out or maybe a Witch Doctor count-out , but not an unstick. And Minotaur was denied an opportunity to gyro/crab a hit in before that occurred.

Again, the rules explicitly state that bots can request an unstick when stuck in part of the battle box which isn't a moving hazard. Numerous un-sticks have taken place throughout the entire season, they were just edited out for television.

If they're non-functional, then they get counted out for being dead, not from being stuck.

One of the BattleBots refs posted on Facebook that unsticks happen way more often than you think, they just don't always make it to television because obviously it's not very exciting. He also pointed out that some period of time passed before they called a timeout to unstick Witch Doctor. Both bots were hobbling around in there before they made the call.

Like, I understand that being biologically male, I'm technically more predisposed to having lower body fat than a chick. However I used to be pretty chubby when I was young, and didn't start to slim down until I stopped eating fast food and started exercising and shit.

There was no reason for them to. Getting stuck doesn't count as being incapacitated for a count-out. The rules explicitly state that you can request an unstick when pinned in a non-moveable part of the box, which is what happened to them.

I feel bad saying it, but I genuinely enjoyed how little of a role the people played in the story. They were fine in the first film for an origin story but they're kinda pointless now.

Shadow in the post credits was a great tease. I was trying to think of what they could do to top last movie's, and I was thinking either Metal Sonic or Shadow.

Also, Super Sonic was hype as fuck! For some reason I wasn't expecting them to actually use him in the movies.

Yeah my wife and I went to San Diego in January. We spent a lot of time in Chula Vista too. The food was awesooome Plus we went hiking in the desert about an hour away which was a ton of fun.

Love that area. We're def going back again someday.
