I take it almost every night with good success. The good thing about it is that it did tend to be relatively safe compared to other sleep aids. Like, from what I've heard, even at uppermost doses it rarely has side effects, instead it's more just that it stops doing anything.

I think it supposedly can possibly cause depression if taken too long, but like I said I take it everyday and never have an issue.

What about LA Fitness? Their premium pass or whatever, is the same price as our current gym, but it has pools and saunas and shit. Are they just another McGym like PF is?

My wife and I have been pretty happy with our current gym overall. But a Planet Fitness just opened next to our two grocery stores we always go to.

We currently pay $35 a month per person. Our gym has a huge variety of weight machines, but we don't use like 75% of them. But that said, we generally do more strength training than cardio and the one criticism I've heard about PF is they don't have much in the way of strength training.

I'm wondering if the big difference in price would be worth it, or if we should stick with our current gym. Anyone have any insight with Planet Fitness?

It's not that I mind stands. I could get behind it. It was just a little weird how it feels like an entirely different show now. But my real problem is so far Jotaro sucks lol. Like we went from the awesomeness of Joseph to end up with someone who's just an ass in Jotaro. Terrible lead so far. I know people might say he gets better (or at least more likable or he grows you or something), but for right now, he sucks.

Yeah the beginning of Part 3 is really weird. Jotaro is written like a complete asshole, which is at odds with how he's depicted for the entire rest of the series.
It's extremely out of place because as far as i remember, there was never an episode where he goes "Ah. Guess I was being a real prick. I've learned my lesson now." He just randomly stops being a rude asshole like 5 episodes in and then it's fine.

could've had a seventh season of this show honestly but i guess the actors are getting too old for the parts. Gus and Mike especially look very old compared to breaking bad but the story is good enough you can generally just suspend your disbelief. still you can't just keep it going forever

This is how I feel pretty much.

COVID ain't going away, ever. We didn't win and vanquish it, but also we have enough scientific knowledge and medical technology to combat it and neutralize most of its effect on society. At this point, current variants actually, finally seem to be 'bro it's just the flu' territory. And we don't broadcast flu/common cold cases every day, nor do we specially accommodate the minority of people who are at higher risk for illness.

Here on CE, its a little bit of an echo chamber between introverts and homebodies who can be content staying home for years at a time. But out in the wild, whether you want to acknowledge it or not, the vaaaast majority of people have mostly gone back to how life was prior to 2020.

Part 3 sets the tone for the entire rest of the series, so if you like it, you'll probably like the next 3 seasons

I bet you money that the movie could've been finished like 3 times already, but everytime they're about to finish it up, Miyamoto goes "Wait wait, hang on... What if we change every single scene with DK in it so that he looks subtly at a flower, like he wants to eat it? That would be fun!"
And all the animators sigh and throw out all their work because of the Miyamoto Clause in that movie's licensing contract.

I have a bachelor's in political science so I'll do my best to explain from an objective standpoint.

In theory, they were supposed to be in favor of maintaining traditional aspects of American government and lifestyle, with responsible economic policies.

Problem is that they've had trouble identifying parts of traditional American lifestyle/politics that represent the nation's founding, ones that actually really matter. So cuz of that, it's led them astray into weird directions that don't have anything to do with the original spirit of the American revolution (i.e. abortion, gay rights, trans rights, minority equity, etc) but they get stubborn and double down on these points for no real reason besides Flanderizing themselves.

The fiscal responsibility, idk, that's something that really started dropping off in the 2000s where republicans tossed out the idea of small government and decided responsible spending translated to "funding things that WE like".

As a political philosophy they've really lost their way. It's bizarre.

Asking customers to pay for a service, and then advertising on top of that, is scummy. AFAIK Hulu is that only place I can think of it which currently does it, and they get a lot of flack for it.

Here's what you gotta do, dude, from one asthma kid to another

Go to your pharmacy, get a new inhaler, regardless of how low your current is. Then in a few days, go again and do the same. Burn through all your refills until you have like 4 or 5 inhalers on hand.
Now just keep those bad boys EVERYWHERE. Keep one at home, bring one to keep at work, stick one in the car, if you have a spouse tell them to keep one in their bag/car, have one at your parents/family, etc etc etc...

I don't even have severe asthma, but I have 2 at home, one in my gym bag, one in my car, one in my wife's car, one in my bag, and one at my in-laws and parents each.

Neeeeever be without one, you never know when you're gonna REALLY need it.

I wonder if it's something you're born with/without or something that varies depending on your development. I ask cuz I'm an artist, and the concept of not being able to picture things in your mind's eye is inconceivable to me lol. But then it makes me think, is it related to artistic capability, and is something you can train?
But then on the other hand, if it is something you'reborn without, would that make you naturally less able to develop an artistic ability?

I'm literally advocating the freedom for people to live their lives without having to make a choice, and dealing with the baggage and drama that comes with it, because there's absolutely no reason to exclusively identify as male or female anymore.

Like, seriously, give me 3 good reasons to maintain the hard concept of male and female genders lol. I'm really curious.

I really can't wait until genderfluidity/neutrality becomes the norm and we can stop arguing about transitioning. It really is a stupid conversation to keep having when it could all be done away with by just disregarding the concept of two genders. Instead, people are hyper-fixated on the binary, and in doing so they just keep reinforcing gender norms we've spent decades trying to tear down.
