If there was a child in an anime that wasn't being sexualized it would be nice if you would call them a child. Do you really need another word for it that's based on a book about a pedophile? I watch a lot of anime but I've never been comfortable with that. If the word doesn't imply sexualization, why does a second word for children even need to exist?

I think because it's more about describing a character archetype than it about describing a child. Like it's entirely possible for an anime to feature both children and loli characters. I think SAO does that with the AI character.

Childlike? The other 2 women in the picture are glaring. The other lady is smiling and has her arms above her head. I've never seen this anime but that picture isn't portraying her as a loli in the slightest. She just seems like a short whimsical woman.

This seems like a way way bigger effort than just simply switching up the pronoun. Their hatred far outweighs their laziness and it's all just really weird, sad, and pathetic.

Is it edgy or is it just more realistic? Because before when you'd watch a superhero get into a dual with someone and they're both wielding swords you'd have to stretch the imagination extremely far to justify where there's no drop of blood despite them both cutting the shit out of each other. Now you got someone like Wonder Woman, a person that can bench press a building wielding a magical sword that's so sharp it can slice atoms, cutting people's limbs off when she swings it at them. That just makes a whole lot more sense than it would otherwise.

The villains usually make a more convincing argument than the heroes do to rebut them. Like in Crisis on 2 Earths the writers couldn't figure out how to make Batman give a convincing rebuttal to Owlman, so instead of saying something he just punched him in the face.

I really don't get where people got this idea that because Darwin's ability is to adapt to his environment that it makes him literally invincible. I don't think that's ever been the case and the fact that it can take a few seconds for his body to morph to adapt to the environment at least implies it takes time for him to fully adapt.

Imagine if they made a character and his literal only ability is to breathe underwater. Then they have the villain of that movie kill him by holding him underwater until he drowns. That's how stupid it was to give Darwin the power that he had but have him be the only protagonist that dies.

The beauty of the MoM movie is that now any newly introduced Xmen character can be any race or gender that Marvel pleases.

Accidentally working for a fine dining restaurant without any prior experience is something that most people don't have to deal with. When you start learning how to cook your skills, equipment, and available ingredients build upon themselves and make it easier to take on those challenging tasks. You may not know how to finely mince an onion properly today, but you've been chopping onions so much you start learning how to make those knife cuts appear closer and closer together, then you get more confidence in holding that onion still, then you eventually start noticing that you don't need to mash the knife down to cut but a nice rocking motion does the job just fine. Then bam, you've minced an onion just fine without even really trying to.
