I don't remember the exact %, but In quebec I have read a studies there was more atheist and agnostics than people who followed a religion in 2022 and only about 4% of people went to church

I honestly think the whole world will get less religious over time, but muslim countries are very religious so it will probably take more time for them

That's good. Stupidity will always find a way, but not having an archaic book (or bad interpretation of said book) be the catalyst for said stupidity will certainly reduce it.

If the majority of folks who practiced, actually tried to model their behavior after Christ, it could potentially have more widespread appeal.

But they don't. No one wants to be like or associate themselves with such hateful/spiteful people.

As a Christian, it's for the best. Conservative Christianity and the people that practice it are something the world needs considerably less of.

Thats why theyre pushing so hard for abortion bans and such, their supply of uneducated, low income people for them to manipulate is dwindling.

This would be so much easier without Christianity in general. The assholes who say the Bible says _____ is bad so I hate you! give people a terrible impression of those who are real Christians.

The churches Ive attended have never done book burnings, pushed for abortion, or been against LGBTQ rights. We volunteered at a homeless shelter, picked up trash, and held fundraisers for the needy. The problem is when people use our religion as an excuse for their shitty behavior. If religion didnt exist, those people would have to be blunt about why they act the way they do. No more the Bible says _____. Just Im an asshole.
