No, he badgered the people that were leaving the cart behind. It's really easy to defend being an asshole to people that you've deemed an easy target for your harassment. Where the Cart Narc failed was to defend his actions when he was confronted by a bystander that saw a hostile situation unfolding right in front of his face and tried to defuse it. When it came to defending his actions then all he could do was make some shitty deflection towards the cart maybe hypothetically causing damage to a truck. When the bystander asked him if the cart actually struck a vehicle the Cart Narc could only stutter and shit himself. People that are correct should be able to explain their views to people that they're not fighting with, cause that's how being correct works. If you can't even come up with a reasonable justification to explain why you're picking fights in the Walmart parking lot then that's called being wrong. Like UR said, two wrongs don't make a right. This is stuff you should have learned in preschool.

If he wasn't right then Cart Narc would have been able to explain and defend his stance. He couldn't do that, because he was wrong. People that are correct can defend themselves.

Yes. I understand there's extenuating circumstances, but I'd bet 90% of the doordash orders, especially now than covid restrictions are lifted basically everywhere, are not made becasue of the circumstances you described.

Most are from people willing to pay an extra $5 for McDonalds because they don't feel like getting off the couch. THOSE are the situations I'll never understand.

I'm not really sure if that's the case, cause stuff like that really adds up quickly. I'd love to see if Ubereats or Doordash actually has this data available. Most people I've known that use these services because they're lazy and just want McDonald's don't usually do that for long because all of those fees add up and they end up just going to the store to pickup their own food anyways. I know of way more people that are forced into the contact less delivery and those people don't have many other options, and those people can't just give up and go to the store. I bet people like that are some of their more persistent and regular customers.

Some people aren't able to leave the house. During covid I had coworkers that were on lock down so they had to order all of their food and supplies to come to their door.

I've had elderly relatives that have had mobility issues and getting up to drive was too painful and exhausting for them so they had to order in food and rely on family to pick up other essentials for them.

I've known other people that were going through chemo so they had to limit their exposure to other people to the barest minimum as much as possible because a gentle breeze could kill them.

Also sometimes people are inebriated and it's best for those people to stay off the road.

Last year I had an incident with a food delivery driver. Ordered around $200 worth of food. I tipped $40 thinking it was generous and due to the sheer amount of food. The person called me and complained saying that they wanted at least $100.

The dentist kept on showing me projections of how having my wisdom teeth growing in would fuck my bite and jaw line up, but I was too lazy/scared to go through with the appointment. So as my teeth started growing in I made the decision that if the pain became unbearable I'd go and get them removed. The pain came and went and I ended up with 4 wisdom teeth. Nothing happened to my teeth or jawline and everything turned out fine. Wisdom teeth removal is a scam.

Now when I go to the dentist they don't say shit about how my mouth is damaged for having wisdom teeth, they just ask me if I still want them because having them makes it inconvenient to floss. I manage to floss just fine though, just gotta shove the floss a little further back.
