Nice. If your goal is to lose 10 pounds by the summer that should be easily doable. Just have to be consistent with eating less calories each day.

My plan tonight was to have baked chicken, green beans and rice for dinner, but I waited too long to cook the chicken and it spoiled. So I had frozen chicken tenders with the green beans and rice. A bit more calories than I intended, but still below my daily goal.

When I did office work at a police station, all of the officers agreed that if you ride a motorcycle, the question isn't if you'll have a bad accident, it's when. People just don't pay enough attention on the road.

One of my childhood friends actually had a really bad accident like 10 years ago. He survived, but he spent like a month in the hospital and everyone made him swear he'd never buy another motorcycle.

Omg yes, kids definitely need to learn about scams if they're on social media a lot. Some millennials and Gen X'ers still fall for phishing too. From the "I have footage of you on your webcam that I will send to everyone you know" fake blackmail emails, to the "I'm renting out this apartment, but I'm not currently in the state. Send me the money and I'll mail you the key." I always hear about people losing money to things that should raise some alarm bells in their head. A little knowledge on that kind of stuff goes a long way.

Mainly melee dps. Especially if I can spec crit rate or evasion rate. The only game where I mained a ranged dps was Maplestory.

I don't really use headphones while gaming anymore. I do have a pair of old Audio-Technica M40x headphones that are great for music, but I use my soundbar for game audio.

100% android. Beyond the iPod, I've never had much love for Apple products. I've always hated Apple's interface, ever since the first time I used a Mac in the early 2000's.

I understand but how can you consume less calories and exercise concurrently. Just doesn't seem feasible. Pendulum effect would occur where you overextend yourself and you would possibly consume even more calories than before, causing you to possibly even gain weight.

By knowing your limits. You can do both, just don't go extreme on either. Like obviously you're going to have a rough time if you cut 1,000 calories out of your daily intake and also work out for hours every day.

D. I had a friend group, but my school was small enough that I knew everyone anyway (entire high school had less than 200 students).

Nah, that's mostly in your head. If I see someone at the gym that's really fat, I am proud of them for making an effort to get in shape.

And as The Popo said, most people won't mind helping you out, if you ask. We've all had that "it's my first time" experience at the gym. It's nothing to be ashamed of.

I do... I need to cancel it. I haven't felt comfortable going since Covid.

Late millennials is the majority I guess. Most of my friends are early 30's. With a few being close to Gen X.

I'd say start with 0. You'll appreciate some of the characters in Kiwami more, if you play 0 first. After that just go in order.

And if you play the Judgment games, make sure you play 6 before Judgment and play 7 before Lost Judgment. The Judgment games are spinoffs, but they take place in the same areas as the main series so they can spoil some things.

I'd prefer a cooler summer. But I live in LA and our weather doesn't care what season it is. Heatwaves in the Winter, heatwaves in the Spring, and even more heatwaves in the Summer. We reached triple digit heat just two weeks ago.

One of my favorite games of all time. In my opinion, it deserves all of the praise it gets.

That said though, a remaster is currently in development, so, for a first time player, it might be worth waiting for that. There's definitely some things about the game that could use some modernization.

Oh I don't deny that Awakening succeeding is why the series is still going. I just don't agree that it was dying. More of just Nintendo not wanting to continue funding a niche series.

But looking at the sales numbers, every Fire Emblem that released outside of Japan surpassed 250k sold. That seemed like an unnecessary threat on Nintendo's part.

This is true, some people don't appreciate all of the work their partner does as a stay at home parent. But I think the point is to avoid the ones that want to be a stay at home parent, specifically, because they don't want to get a job.

Yeah this. A court can find all of, or parts of, a prenup to be unenforceable and still require you to pay alimony or spousal support. It's not a 100% protection. Just need to find the right partner.

The Fire Emblem series nearly died!

I disagree with this part. It was pretty niche before Awakening, but it wasn't dying. Adding casual mode definitely broadened the series' appeal though.

Anyway, I've never played any of the DS/3DS Fire Emblems (GBA was my last handheld), but I've always thought Tharja looked cool.

It's true. It's not that toppings are bad, but if you find a pizza lacking without toppings, it's not great pizza.

This. It's like people on recipe sites that are like "This recipe is a 10/10. When I make it I add 20 other ingredients and my family loves it."

I still use it. People say other sites are better, but the hub has the best filtering system. And that helps a lot when I'm looking for specific types of videos.

You have no idea. The "LGBT community" hates bi people, especially bi people in opposite-sex relationships.

My partner is actually the most progressive person in the world, and coming out as bi (after being together for 10 years) was the biggest fucking deal in the world.

Bisexuality just flies under so many people's radar; people don't expect it. People aren't used to it. People don't know how to react.

There are so many bi/pan+ people in same and opposite-sex relationships that can't and won't come out of the closet because they have very little to gain and a lot to lose by doing so. You'd think "gay" people could come out as bi, but you'd be wrong. A "gay" person who comes out as "bi" is probably more likely to get dumped by their partner than a bi+ person in an opposite-sex relationship.

Also, there are bi/pan+ people that sort of self-hate and trash bisexuals while identifying as gay or straight. I have no problem with sexual fluidity or changing one's own orientation, but what do you do when your "lesbian" friend dated a guy she was "in love with" and then badmouths bisexuals for being "perverts."

There's nothing you can do, you just cry in the bathroom alone at some point.

Yeah I've heard a bit about the bi hate on the sexuality board here. It's still crazy to me that gay people treat bisexuals that way. You would think they would sympathize, instead of being hostile.

But I guess I should stop expecting people to be rational
