It's the portion sizes and the amount of sugar we consume. Some things are super calorie dense too, for how unfilling they are. And those tend to be the cheapest foods. Like ramen noodles. Cook your noodle brick and add the seasoning and you've got 370 calories worth of noodles. That's more calories than a cheeseburger. And it's just noodles. And I love soda, but there's a ton of calories in those too.

Nah ReviewBrah has a cult following online. His channel currently has 2.6 million subscribers. Not necessarily a household name, but still far beyond a CE only thing.

In my state (California) you get about 4k-5k extra, per child, on your tax return. Trust me, you spend way more than that on kids, so it's not that big of a deal. You're not being short changed for not being a parent.

A lot of people use Spotify, but I like using YouTube. Find a good channel that uploads new music from specific genres and you get a steady stream of bangers.

Maybe check out Aviencloud on YouTube. That channel uploads some Hip Hop, R&B and Pop music from relatively unknown artists (calls it indigo, but I'd say it's just indie). Some pretty interesting sounds if you're willing to listen through some of the playlists.

Yes, of course. I have platonic female friends that I hang out with regularly. And that's both in a group and one on one.

Lately, I've been keeping my daily calories low, so if I go, I get 3 crunchy tacos. That's 510 calories total for $5.55.

That said, I've been hearing rumors that they're bringing back the Mexican pizza in "Spring". I will absolutely get one if they bring that back. That's my all time favorite thing from Taco Bell.

The Riftbreaker. It wasn't even on my radar before it launched, but I saw it on gamepass and decided to check it out. It's so much fun and it's crazy to think that I probably wouldn't have played it otherwise.

Basically you're on an Alien planet with a talking mech suit. You gather resources and build up a base, like a Real Time Strategy game. You surround your base with walls and turrets, like a Tower Defense game. And you explore in your mech and shoot hostile creatures like a Twin Stick Shooter. It's a weird combination of game genres, but it works really well.

Yeah, plenty of us do. It comes in handy for others to reference, if you make posts about PC parts. I've actually started conversations with people, simply because of the specs in their sig.

This game has massive balancing issues but also is already too easy. Ill always cite the 2 most OP things in the game:

-Easily buying and giving everyone group heals. This is a relatively early and easy thing that breaks the game.

-The main characters super weapon destroys everything. At least this is late game behind an optional boss but its a very strong weapon that literally 100% crits on most enemies and bosses in the game.

I am, yeah. It was one of my favorite PS1 games growing up. I didn't play Chrono Trigger until years after I played Cross, so I didn't have the same hatred for Cross that some fans have.

Well, we don't have a lot of that in the MCU, but we did get Into the Spiderverse, which was great

I enjoyed the first episode, but I decided to wait until the season finished. That way I only have to pay for 1 month of Peacock's premium subscription, instead of paying for 3 months to watch it every week.

I'd been making my way through the Ys games, one Ys game a year, and I've finally reached Ys 8, might have hyped myself on it a little.

I'm sure it will live up to your hype. Ys 8 is my favorite Ys game. I always make sure to recommend it when people ask for good JRPG's to play.

Also, if you're playing through Nihon Falcom games, I'd recommend checking out Tokyo Xanadu Ex+. It's like a weird combination of Ys and the Trails of Cold Steel games. But overall a fun game.

One thing to look out for, if you're going for the trophies/achievements, is the "thoroughly explored with" trophies. There's 1 for each party member.

Basically to get each one to pop, you have to actively play as that character (not just have them in the party) for 5 hours. It's cumulative, but if you're like me and rarely control the other characters, it turns into "stand around with each character for 5 hours with nothing to do" in the post game.

I still use TurboTax. Generally, they let you file for free if you don't wait until the last minute. I think you already missed their free filing period for this year.

I've also seen a lot of CEmen recommending Freetaxusa. I've never used it myself, but it sounds good.

I prefer the god mode style new game+. The other way is like the games with level scaling, it removes the sense of "I'm stronger than I was at the beginning" because the enemies at the starting areas are now just as strong. I don't want that.

Especially if the game is long. I want to plow through the story the second time. I don't want a 40 hour playthrough to take another 40 hours because the enemies got stronger.

Yeah, it could have used a bit more foreshadowing, but it sets up Horizon 3 quite nicely.

I might watch a summary of the story on youtube, but that's it. I tried picking it up last year, but it has waaay too much of that 90's shounen bloat, like DBZ has. Everything just takes so long.
