They're actually pretty good. I played the first two and thoroughly enjoyed them. I'll likely be getting this collection for Switch. @LanHikari10

This is the first console generation where the hardware is basically a standard PC spec bump over the previous generation (360/PS3 to One/PS4 were big architectural changes in both CPU and GPU).

So it stands to reason that making cross-generational titles is a lot more feasible now than before.

Both generations use AMD CPUs and GPUs with x86 / x64 setups.

I love this. Enough of the architectural shifts each generation. You have PC components right there. You have ARM-based processors and RDNA2 silicon from AMD. Make mini computers and port everything to everything.

Time for all the chuds to boycot them.

Newer will almost always be better, but a generation or two behind - especially the higher end models - will still hold up for a long time. And likely be cheaper, especially once the newer gen is out.

You also run the risk of stagnation with the first generation of new architecture. Look at what happened with 20 series over 10 series. We didn't truly get the performance we were expecting until 30 series. We might see the same thing with 40 series.

It was a bit too wacky and over the top for my liking

And in terms of gameplay I had it was the same issue I had with most open world games in that there's kinda a lack of direction and focus.

Judgment and Lost Judgement are more straight lace than traditional Yakuza games, but the gameplay loop is still there.

They're a bit more straight lace game with less over the top arcade stuff. Depends on whether it's the gameplay or the aesthetic of the game that holds you back. I personally enjoy the games, and need to play more of them. I might go through Yakuza 0 after I'm done Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

Agreed. If you can't afford to tip, or don't want to tip, then don't expect people to go out of their way to bring your food to them. They're contractors, and pay almost everything out of pocket. I've had issues with people not finding my house address, coupled with being put on a 'do not deliver' list because of some supposedly sketch people that a driver saw nearby (has since been rescinded), so it's just easier for me to order food for pick up and go get it myself.
