I am a Level 25 with focus on Strength, Endurance, and Dexterity and I just cannot kick the Tree Sentinel for the live of me. I got him to just under half health before getting my ass kicked lol.

For one, I'd start putting points in Vigor until at least 25-30 because you'll get Sacred Tears to make it feasible to full health that in the first three areas.

Tips: When you're fighting horseback bosses, see if you can equip the longest weapon you have available (maybe a halberd if you got it), since the range will make it safer to get hits in. Safely damaging horseback bosses comes down to controlling your horse movement. For example, lining up with them, then getting the horse to sprint for a burst of speed, and grazing them with your weapon and turning away before they can get their own blow in. Jumps let you change direction at a dime at the cost of max speed. Lastly, equip load doesn't matter on horseback so just equip the heaviest armor you have.

A lot of people put off beating him because he is very hard.

Misbegotten Warrior + Crucible Knight might be the worst encounter this company has ever put out since Demon's Souls. Somebody from DS2 had the reigns on this side content and they fucking screwed it. Nearly every double/triple boss is a huge blemish on this game.

Is there a weapon with decent faith scaling that only does physical damage?

I've peeked guides for when I think I've cleared a place but want to see what I missed. I learned that I missed a prayerbook at one point and frankly I do not regret 'cheating' to find that!

I dont know if anyone here has gotten to the Caelid boss in Elden Ring Radahn but I think if you try to fight him without summons or spirits which doesn't seem intended then he may be the hardest of all

Then again you could overlevel for it. Friede, Gael and Isshin have the benefit of being designed for endgame characters

I didn't think Gael was as hard as Friede or Midir but the fight is kino and worth beholding

Friede is harder (Friede is hardEST, id say).

i dunno if i'd say the brass shield's the best in the game. plenty of medium shields have 100 physical block, and the brass one's rather heavy. it is cool, though

I believe it has the highest stability of any mid shield (or, it's called 'guard support' or something in this game, either way it's how much stamina the blocking costs), but yeah, it's really heavy. It's kind of a luxury for those invested into END

I think it looks great and tbh people shouldn't expect a sequel to a 25 year old game to look identical to the original. Things change. I say this as a pretty diehard mainline SMT fan

The worst part of Octopath Traveler was the story and dialogue

Clips of FromSoft games are always crazy gameplay stuff, even when it's negative it's about gameplay. All the Horizon clips I see are making fun of voice acting and character designs. I still don't even know what the objective in Horizon is

Not saying that's objective proof ER is better, but it's interesting what people focus on in either one

The text is summons a monster(s) which means any number of concurrent summons only triggers it once.

They may have had a permanent spell like the Kaiju Files or Kyoutou Waterfront, those generate a lot of counters

So uh, the game is supposed to show kaiju counters, right? My opponent got out 3 and I couldn't see how many counters it had on it but somehow they activated the effect of the turtle one 3 times in one turn which would mean they needed 6 on the field but I didn't see tokens on anything. :/

I think some of them can put kaiju counters basically anywhere on the field. If there's counters on the card I think they'll be at the bottom right of the card blow-up when you select them
