I know the big ape has been in legal limbo for a long time. (The new movies specifically call him "Kong" to avoid that.) But I wonder if 1995 was before or after the disputed ownership. |

That animated series Monkey Magic was fun though. I should suck it up and read it the whole way through. The Ox King is the primary inspiration for Bowser and he's one of my all-time favorite villains in any media. |

The first movie has two hits: Danger Zone and Take My Breath Away. The sequel reuses Danger Zone, but doesn't have any musical numbers of its own. It's just a reminder of what has been lost. Memorable soundtracks are pretty much a thing of the past. But that's not on the filmmakers. This was an A+ sequel. |

The first time I saw the movie, I thought they were going for the most boring sci-fi ship interior possible so that the gory effects would stand out more once the alien started killing people. To be fair, it absolutely worked for me. It's like having Jason Voorhees burst through a dentist's wall and rip somebody's lungs out. But most people seem to praise the look of the Nostromo at face value - so I guess I'm in the minority. Either way, the film is awesome. The characters are dramatic and realistic. And Carlo Rambaldi's creature effects are super impressive to this day. |

I'll teach my 8-year-old how to use a semi-automatic." A person can be gay and think, "People don't deserve more pay. They need to work harder and spend less." I know prejudice from within one's own camp should be a deterrent, but there are always people who think they can prove they're one of the good ones. And, honestly, not every conservative is a bloodthirsty goosestepping Nazi in their day to day life. |

You all needed to know. I legitimately thought that Vega was a shirtless, flat-chested woman. So I get the ball sack thing. I think a part of me questioned if the red part was his clothing or him until I saw the alternate skin of the character where it's a little more evident that it's clothing. |
