I think there was something saying how it spread so quickly, it most likely wasn't the fault of rats (fleas from rats to humans), but instead, fleas from human to human.

success doesn't always positively correlate with quality; it often has to do with connections, image, and other stuff unrelated to the medium a person is a part of.

it has a really cool concept, IMO - you work as this inspector, and you have to determine what happened to a ship full of people (whether they died, escaped, etc.).

edit: since you're looking forward to the System Shock remake, you might like Prey.

yea, I've got to agree with the others as to why there are less black male characters in the first movie than the second, for both in-universe reasons and real life ones.

as for why we don't see any new characters on stage, outside of Namor, it's because Namor is going to be one of the main characters (probably the most prominent outside of maybe Shuri).

this isn't a good example of black male erasure; it's just, unfortunately, the star died and the franchise has to continue without him.

both had some neat parts, but overall, I didn't like either one.

I think Chappelle Show had higher highs, but Key & Peele was more consistently funny.

I also disagree with you liking the open areas more. I thought they were kind of poorly placed. Like Ellie is on a Rambo-esque murder spree, why do I have to stop right before I get there to explore this nearby town? I liked the game being more streamlined.

iirc, there was one open area, and that was because Ellie and Dina were looking for clues where to go in the beginning (story-wise, that section could have been written differently to avoid it, though).

after that, even though the stages could be pretty big, they were still linear.

Eh, the "humans are the real monsters" thing has been tired for a while now, it was already starting to show its age when Land of the Dead came out in 2005 with its on the nose commentary.

I don't disagree, it's been that way since Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.

I also feel like this will have to do a lot to help differentiate itself from TWD, if it tries to at all.

I heard the quick hacks were nerfed, though, which kinda disappoints me.
