Some male megastars reach high success because their appeal reaches both female AND male demographics. Jenn Lawrence has no shortage of popularity with male consumers, particularly in regards to her looks. That charm is not as big of a selling point with female consumers and her acting is not exactly irreplaceable.

If more women as consumers helped promote her as a favored icon and persuaded more men to support her work, there could be a shift. Statistically, she's SOL on that one. Female consumers are less likely to pay to see actresses like Lawrence. And activist takes like this article are actually NOT strong motivators with consumers regardless of sex. Some women will actually roll their eyes whenever they hear another pampered Hollywood bombshell whine about gender pay inequity in a field where she's still more privileged than 95% of the world.

Yes, there are people who only want that type of arrangement. It's been a thing for centuries.

Results may vary. It's not innately lonely for every individual, particularly those who just want to hook up, period.

It's not much of a mystery.

The man has stated himself that one of the primary reasons he's broken up with prior younger girlfriends is because they tend to make it clear they want to settle down after the age of 25. He's made it clear he's not interested in that level of investment.

So these young women are still choosing to get with him for a while knowing that he's not planning to settle down. The public knows this, literally memes about this. Also keep in mind that the level of women who could catch his eye could get plenty of other men instead, yet they choose him despite the infamous rumors.

He's like the embodiment of "don't hate the playa, hate the game ". There's no game if the women stop wanting to play. Doesn't matter if he approaches them first or vice versa, they said yes. They're to blame for their own losses when they don't snag a ring from him. Like this is so well known at this point, I would not be surprised to hear that some of these young women (knowing the trend) used Dicaprio as a vehicle to try and get famous themselves. And he was down with it. Neither party is a victim.

The funny part is the relatively commonality that they themselves are projecting.

I admit I forgot there was a series on Netflix. I just didn't care to watch.

Despite the awkward feminist takes within the show, even women are dunking on the first episode's poor writing, especially female commentators who are comic consumers themselves.

A She-Hulk series including a dash of pro feminism could work when well presented. This missed that mark and a notable portion of the viewer criticism is calling that out in various ways. They're not all bots; some of the complaints are valid. The show writers simply need to dial down the Bechdel testing while putting a higher priority on constructive storytelling and character growth. She-Hulk learning how to overcome the obstacles of her knew transformative powers could have been an ongoing subplot developing other support characters as well, including Bruce Banner as a mentor. It's a golden opportunity to show a protagonist's trials and perseverance over time into becoming something stronger, which She-Hulk had to do within the comics. It's also prime material for a show categorized as a comedy because not every trial is easy and the character is known for her sassy takes on life. The show's writers, however, decided to forgo that in the first episode and just make Jennifer Walters a blackbelt in Hulking. It's boring and lazy writing.

All I can say further is I hope the series redeems itself from it's shoddy introduction. I would like to see the character of She-Hulk on the big screen someday because she's actually written entertainingly. This rendition so far is not giving me much hope.

She's not the first winner to try to file a suit like this. There have been others before without success.

The typical argument of the plaintiffs was the advertised winning announcements basically put a target on the winners' backs attracting solicitors, con artists, extortionists, and even thugs looking for a ransom. However, giving legitimacy to any of these suits would simply lead to ticket producers including a label of warning of said risks and including company protections against further suits via purchase agreement.

It's a potential scam winners could pull, but like I said none of those suits have succeeded. And the industry will quickly close any further loopholes.

Which would be ironically uncreative for an edgy name choice.

It's like giving your character a provocative name in a console game only to find out you're like player #239487 bragging about using the same name.

What's funnier is people have already legally named their child Ryatt before without any relation to the word "riot", which diminishes the novelty of the name even further. It's one of those examples of trying to be unique to the point you're not.

Big difference between:

• men who are single yet are still getting their social and intimate quotas satisfied (single but occasionally dating)
• and men who spend most of their time single and hate it due to a lack of intimacy or sexual conquest.

The latter need to take a que from the former, because the latter made the mistake of defining a chunk of their identity on always having a partner in order to qualify as a respectable man. They made that aspect TOO personal and integral to their self image. They got fed self destructive Kool Aide from an impressionable young age and grew up thinking they couldn't exist as a real man without a woman somewhere hanging off them. They were lead to put way too much stock in the opinions of other men and women perpetuating said toxic standards.

A woman can still be a healthy fulfilled woman without a man.
By the same chord, a man can still be a healthy fulfilled man without a woman.
Relationships are ideal, but both sexes can still function fine without obsessing over the other.

We're living in a century where being single does not equate to being a virgin or celibate. It's literally a norm now in which both women and men can figure out how to benefit with it. Marriage is no longer the norm in much of the western world and people looking for companionship need to adapt in order to find satisfying alternatives to outdated approaches. This isn't news. Clickbait articles like this present a charade of concern for views. Much of the same points could be said of lonely single women in other articles and has, yet it's often posed as a crisis of victimhood rather than failure despite following practically the same formula.

If you're a young man trying to advance your life comfortably in this decade, focus on yourself as a primary. Don't be afraid to turn down what you know is a raw deal. Don't give stock to critics who shame you for thinking about your own welfare first as a single person. It's the same thing I would tell a daughter.

I prefer the version that got mutated into an actual killer moth. He went from weenie Z-lister into a giant rampaging bug. That was interesting.

This live action "adaption" just seems like they took an extra and slapped the name (and tattoo) on him to say a particular DC villain would make an appearance. Boring.

There's plenty of women who will criticize another woman for "dressing too manly " or "butch", especially women who pride themselves on expensive fashion like Gucci. With formal exceptions, men's clothing is comparatively cheaper on average.

It's also not rare for a woman with a habit of dressing masculine to be accused by other women of being envious of men or trying to be one.

Men have very little to do with this phenomena.
Women can display discriminating tribalistic opinions too.

He's commented on social elements like that before without it ending in riots after his head. Wouldn't surprise me if he was also talented at explaining it without hitting someone over the head with rainbows. On the other hand, some other people don't feel as confident to bluntly explain a sensitive topic like that to a child, but will at least attempt to hand it off to someone they know who can. Both reactions are reasonable.

Kids who don't get satisfactory answers will seek them somewhere else anyway. Better the explanation comes from people conscientious about the child's welfare and careful about the answer instead of some slob who just completely sends a horrifyingly morbid impression that gives the kid nightmares.

My only concern is how this might deep six the Harley Quinn series, a spoof I found surprisingly entertaining. The team producing it now really know how to get it done. If another studio picked the show up, I would miss the chemistry of the current voice cast too much to continue watching.

They make more than a livable wage in the US. Saying they "have to " is an overstatement.

Professional NBA players make considerably more because consumers (men and women) believe NBA players are considerably more entertaining and worth higher ticket prices. Why? Ask them. Plenty of social media content with women stating why they're big fans of men's professional basketball, but not as interested in the women's league.

One way for WNBA players to get paid more for performance is convince more women to support the sports league as consumers. Good luck with that. Female sports addicts have existed for decades, yet they have a higher tendency to watch male professional sports instead. And they'll tell you why.

No hate on Griner for chasing green where she can get it, but any claims of a seasoned WNBA player being entitled to the same pay as seasoned NBA players while bringing in a fraction of the ticket sales are ridiculous and pure grift. Consumers have spoken.
