I am actually still relatively early in the game. The boss that I was stuck on was Belius. Maybe I'll try later but I think I'm a good 5-10 levels under where I should be.

I've beat every mothership Tales game except for Vesperia, Xillia, Xillia 2 and Arise...
Hell I've beat some of them on the highest difficulty.

I have a save from 2019 where I was trying to beat some boss, and I'm like 10 levels under the boss' level and even random encounters wipe my party. No idea how I got into that game state but was reminded at how horrible I am at action games and how I shouldn't play them.

Could have even been a VN instead.

It's a common trope, not a mystery but Barakamon was pretty good. MC gets sent to a remote island to get better at calligraphy.

Far-Queue I can understand. He has been very helpful in the past but I have no idea who tf you are.

On the other end - I've just realized the anxiety of finding another job is probably far better than the current anxiety that I am feeling. Every 3 or so months, I have this intense desire to just quit and move on. This job does not care about me, and I'm tired of being my co-worker's servant.

If it's the latter, you can start looking for a job - and get hired - before you submit your resignation. People do this all the time. Just tell your new employer that your start date will have to begin in a couple weeks. They'll understand, and more than likely appreciate your showing your former employer some courtesy in giving a proper notice.

I am absolutely terrified of doing so and have had extreme pressure on my parents (this is a different subject all together) to not do so.

Trying to get validation of your master non-stop just for them to give you none?
Having multiple masters, all of them regularly reinforcing how much of a failure you are?
That is my life. Constantly being told how much of a failure I am.

I think it had something to do with certain carriers (AT&T) not adopting VoLTE. T-Mobile was one of the first adopters iirc, but AT&T never fully switched over and has weird issues with phone locking or something.
I've never had a carrier locked phone, so not really familiar with it (easy enough to buy a $200-$400 unlocked phone).

Out of Yamamoto's 3 big works (Takagi, Kunoichi, Shogi-senpai) Kunoichi was the one I couldn't really get into and I didn't find the first episode of the anime very interesting either.

I watched Kono Healer, Mendokusai and found it moderately funny. As someone who doesn't watch series like this it was a decent use of 30 minutes.
