Excellent point, I appreciate you pointing that out. Its definitely something that has bothered me a lot at times in the past because it lends credence to the already unfair and untrue perception that transitioning is the result of following a trend.

Isnt it tragic how we can so easily become insecure about the things that make us unique? Lately Ive been trying to work on reminding myself that when Im feeling self conscious and feel that everybody is looking at me and thinking Im weird, that thats really just a thought Im having and not really a reflection of how others actually feel. Putting that into practice for me sometimes involves finding a physical space where I feel comfortable saying it out loud.

You know, shoes like that are designed to make women feel tall and powerful, and they kinda set your legs into a position where youre flexed up and looking graceful, which is certainly going to be awkward if youre not used to it. I think that people who were bullied and abused in the past are so afraid of standing out because that attention might attract more people who want to hurt us, and thats definitely true and something to give thought to, but the good people will also have a harder time finding us if we stay afraid and keep hiding ourselves. You dont always have to be strong, but youll get better at it the more you try.

You did make me think about the relationships a lot of trans women have with the process of learning how to be a woman, and it makes me so happy to read about your relationship to your mother and that thats a really strong positive influence for you. I think it was probably difficult for her too, but it sounds like shes been a really brave person for you as well.

Aside from shopping, what are some other ways she spends time with you that make you feel that womanly bond?

Thanks I really liked that assessment! I also had a similar thought for Sophie. At first I was feeling dumb and actually thinking wait did they make a mistake with her animation but then her voice changed to be young again so I started thinking that maybe it has to do with love like maybe love breaks the spell since whenever she's happy or excited she changes back to being young.

Their politicians defended 1/6 so... yeah. A party that literally is involved in a domestic terrorism attack against the state capitol of their own country has no business holding power in it.

Its not even that bad but it certainly does have obvious studio-meddling-type issues. That said, I feel like we couldve gotten more Tobey Maguire Spidey movies if the fans didnt way overreact to the third movies faults too.
