i didn't see the post, but so doing little as voicing opposition to neoliberal geopolitical excesses seems to get labeled as "russian propaganda" these days. perhaps because opposition to such excesses (particularly in CIS or CIS-adjacent countries) is in russia's strategic interest.

we've basically descended into "you're with us or you're with the russians" kind of public affairs discourse.

i wouldn't consider pizzicato five muzak given their stylistic eclecticism, though some of their music probably takes some cues from the library/bgm tradition, the [retro] japanese side of which i'm still trying to properly explore since it's a bit obscure as far as i can tell. if you have recs in this area, do let me know.

there is bona fide muzak (as in music by the company) but it's a little too bland for me to have indulged in. however, i swear by television listing music and especially british teletext music, never mind the better known production music shops (e.g. kpm, de wolfe, etc.) and seeburg.

i'm no lawyer, but skimming the decision paper, it seems like even conservative-leaning judges (particularly acb) who concurred with the general decision expressed implicit reservations about it, discussing the possibility of what i interpret as a bit of overreach on the part of the supreme court with respect to its relationship with the procedures of lower courts

there goes any plausible deniability if it happens
