Tomodachi Game got an anime?? I had no idea!

I've talked about the manga here before; it's like Liar Game except with more danger (Liar Game banned physical violence and that is decidedly not the case here), and more plot happening between games. Also the characters are more connected so motives and betrayals are much more personal.

Nearly every character is hiding some sort of major secret that has yet to be revealed (which may or may not influence their decisions so they might seem weird), and the main character gets very interesting pretty quickly.

The one that's there most of the time or the one that's there all the time?

I went to one years ago. I really liked it and would like to go again. But my sister got sick after trying it so that turned her off to it.

Somebody pointed out that the reason this Spider-Man may have felt lacking in some ways compared to the others is that this whole trilogy could be looked at as Peter's origin story. People repeatedly point out how immature he is, which every Peter is before tragedy strikes.

Even though he's been out there doing the hero thing for a while, it wasn't until now that he TRULY knows the level of tragedy, responsibility, and self-sacrifice that makes Peter Parker and Spider-Man iconic. If you look at it like that, we never saw Peter's beginning in the MCU because we were watching it unfold the whole time.

I was actually looking into that game myself recently since it was on sale. It's a shame reviews say the gameplay is frustrating.

NIS Classics volume 3 was just announced for Switch, with La Pucelle: Ragnarok & Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure. I'm hyped for the latter; I still remember seeing the intro while watching Cinematech on G4 years ago.

I've always hated when people say that because it's nowhere near true. Take his characters from Independence Day/Men in Black/Bad Boys, then look at his characters in Ali, Pursuit of Happyness, Bagger Vance, Seven Pounds, I Robot, or even Hitch and try to say they're even remotely alike.

Hes a damn good character actor, and what people are actually saying when they when they complain is that they just don't like when he plays cool/energetic characters.

I just upgraded from an S5 myself about a month ago. These companies have already been proven to slow down their older devices through new firmware, and mine was so ridiculously slow and prone to crashing that I just plain couldn't do it anymore.

I got an S9 and I'm pretty happy with it so far, except for the fact that the headset controls work differently from any other electronic device I've ever used them on. I can't get a handle on what combination of one, two, or three clicks makes it skip forward/back/pause when playing a video or music, and often it doesn't even work the same way twice in a row.

Was it... was it ever not legal?

Do you mean like breaking the gameplay wide open, or actually crashing the game? Either way, probably Missingno.

I was also reminded recently of a glitch I found in a GBA Yu-Gi-Oh game that was very simple to execute yet had the power to crash the game and wreak absolute havoc on your save file, including filling your deck with glitched cards with insane stats.

In some ways the inverse of that comic is true. You might not have a problem with the average person on the street, but looking at the atrocities committed by humanity as a collective brings up genocidal supervillain urges.

They're badly implemented though. They're not visible on the main screen; you have to go to your full library and then press a shoulder button, so there's little point. They already did better than this with the 3DS..

Shiren is not a clone; it was the first original IP under the Mystery Dungeon label. Before that the series only used existing franchises like Dragon Quest (and later it became synonymous with Pokemon Mystery Dungeon).

Izuna was the first game of the genre that I played, and I fell in love with the gameplay style.

Mainly Mystery Dungeon games like Shiren, some others like Adventure Bar Labyrinth/Labyrinth Story, and some others. I've seen people say they're only roguelites, despite that for most of them the "lite" aspect is only for the fairly short main campaign, and once that's complete you unlock countless other traditional "start from zero, permadeath" dungeons that are bigger and much harder.

These are all turn based games, that have permanent death, are all on a grid, very complex, are about exploring and killing tons of monsters and have procedural generation so no game is like before and no game can be done the same way or with some sort of meta build to stomp the game.

That's another thing; I can list several games that fit all those descriptions, that several people adamantly insist are not roguelikes. It seems like even the so called purists can't agree on a solid set of criteria. So why shouldn't a game that checks *most* of those boxes be thrown in with the rest?
