That much is obvious by now considering how much of the thread is spent devoted to:

1. Coming up with conjectures to explain why people aren't dating.
2. Confusing people who are trying to date but unable find an appropriate partner with people who aren't dating at all.
3. Coming up with conjectures as to why the previously mentioned people can't find a partner.
4. Repeatedly stating nonsense like "girls can get laid any time they want so no reason to date anyone"

Like it's not even a very long article and had lots of pretty charts.

For men, they aren't improving on themselves. A lot of guys blame the world and women for being single, without self-improvement and lack of direction.

For women, they can be picky. Because more women are in the workforce, more of them are educated and don't need to rely on men either, they don't have the interest in finding one too.

A long time ago if you made a PC game you used to have to make multiple versions literally for different hardware configurations. You'll often find on older dos games especially installation menus asking you about your video and sound cards.

Direct X automates that process so you only have to write code for Direct X instead of 5 different possible video cards.

As for why everything makes you "install direct X again" this is strictly a not necessary step but many games aren't tested to work outside of the direct X version that they were compiled on and the only way to make sure you have those exact binaries is to install direct X again.

The alternative is trusting the user to know which direct X versions are installed and how to get a specific version that they need.

Yeah he died, then I found out you could save him so I loaded a save and spent like 5 hours trying to save him and eventually I did and got super disappointed to find that it changes literally nothing he's not on the island if you go back later.

I was just thinking that if they had full ROM on the eye that they'd be able to cover a much wider area than would be enjoyable.

The normal vision might be wider than the effective cone area I'm not sure about that.

There's also still plenty of shit they can do even if they can't see you. Being out of the cone just avoids the nastiest attacks.

They have a vision cone within a swivel. If you move outside of that cone they have to physically turn until you're back in the cone.

The main eye definitely rotates. They have a lot of magic that operates on main eye vision. The eye stalks don't really do anything they're just magic wands grafted directly onto them. You can cut them off and the only thing that happens is the beholder casts less magic.
