They target places where they believe they can catch people off-guard and do what they will with little or no resistance. That school is one of the safest in America. Yes. Because people that are mass shooters are the most stable group, and will take that into account. They originally bought a house that ended up selling for about 100K more than I paid for mine, but other than that, I'm basically in the same spot they were when they were both in their early 40's. --- It takes zero effort to be a good person.

From what my roommate (former military) says, cops aren't even allowed at a lot of gun ranges because they do dangerous stuff from bad training habits as a result of being cops. And apparently they're also really bad shots which is why they usually just fire off most of the bullets they have loaded, because they can't even see if the target was hit and react if they're trying their best to just shoot as fast as possible. I'm not one to "Back the Blue", but you're roommate is wrong. Unless we're talking about privatized, small town police forces, general gun qualifications are exponentially tougher in the police force than they are in the military. Mainly because 80% of the military doesn't even carry a weapon once they get past basic training. The amount of military jobs that have zero to do with actual combat dwarfs most civilians expectations. --- It takes zero effort to be a good person.

However, a quiet home is a depressing home. I kinda feel this way as well. I grew up in a house of 9 people (My parents, sister, Aunt/Uncle/2 cousins, Grandma). I left the house when I moved in with my eventual wife, so I've never fully had the experience of living alone.
