I am aware of the deaths, and I have personally done everything I can to mitigate it. Boosted, wear masks, don't go to crowded indoor spaces.

You can also be considerate of all the ten of millions in the US who have had a very negative impact on their life. Balancing it, as I said.

Are you talking about the people like me, who had to bury his parents 22 days apart back in June 2020 due to Covid related illnesses.

Or are you talking about the "Mask are Communism" crowd?

Who are we making things "normal" for?

Because for some of us, things will never be normal again.

Also, as a parent, I watch my daughters have their childhoods' ruined and their social development stunted.

Looking beyond my life, there is an astronomical rise in depression, suicide, substance abuse, overdoses, debt, businesses shutting down, etc. When is this not worth it anymore?

I don't know how old your daughters are, but my kids (ages 13 and 16) haven't had their childhoods changed in the least. My daughter is still on the cheer team in HS, my son still plays flag football every fall and spring, plays baseball every summer. They hang out with their friends, we've gone to baseball games, concerts, hockey games, etc.

And this is in New York.

Well yeah who actually likes wearing masks all day?
No one likes sitting at a traffic light, but they know it's the safe thing to do.

Aside from your 12 hours of sleep a day (wtf) yeah it's some bullshit. Between work and all the other stuff you have to make time for like cleaning, working out, etc who the fuck has time to do anything you actually like doing
OK. Lets assume his schedule is the same, but he sleeps 8 hours a day instead of 12.
That's basically mirrors what my schedule is other than the fact that I don't work from home, and I shower in the morning and at night.

I rotate which room in the house I clean each night, so I'm not using 6 hours on a Saturday to clean the entire house. It rarely takes me more than 45 minutes to clean any one room. I then still have 3 hours left. I use an hour to workout and shower, and the other two hours are used to hang with the wife/kids/watch tv, hobbies, etc.

The routine shifts as needed, but that's a basic day in my life.

If it's important enough to you, you'll find the time to do it.

I just want to add that you take a shit in the morning, but don't shower until that evening, and that completely grosses me out.

Maybe it's because they're older (13 and 16), but neither of my kids give a shit about having to wear masks at school.

And the only ones I've heard that DO have a problem, are the ones who's parents tell them they shouldn't have to wear them.

If you are vaccinated there is no reason to wear a mask anymore, so its the definition of virtue signaling. By all means though, continue to argue that my 2 year old needs to keep wearing a mask at daycare.
It's actually the opposite, as people that are vaccinated are more like to get Covid without knowing they have it, and possibly pass it on to others.

There's more cases of vaccinated people having asymptomatic cases of Covid than unvaccinated.
