Judges can waive... waivers depending on the circumstances. Firing for getting injured on company time is one of those massive judgment cases that lawyers are frothing at the mouth for lol

document everything, when you called, who you spoke to, their responses, etc...

Apply for FMLA and see if you get approved, otherwise as soon as you get fired, see if you can get them to say why, or even a hint, then try to exhaust all your options like asking for your job back, etc... but don't tell them you're documenting it or looking to file a lawsuit.

With all of this documented go to an experienced wrongful termination lawyer and see if you have a case

Yeah putting it on social media is a bit much. That might be what drives it over the line to make the kid hate you. My mom had whipped me with a belt. She also took away my step sisters laptop which had been my mom's but she gave it to her as a hand me down which said step sister proceeded to use to spread lies about my mom on social media.. and we all went out back and and proceeded to pump it full of lead.. step sister got over it. She got a new one eventually. (And she was still allowed to use other computers in the house in the meantime she just had to share) . my mom just never felt the need to record shit like that and share it publicly.

whats funny is now that people feel that the entire world has to know what actions they're taking, it makes it easier to prosecute if someone calls CPS. In fact I'm sure i've seen a few stories of exactly that happening, a video of abuse and then the parent getting arrested later on after someone reports it
