Why do conservatives hate the environment so much?

I mean I get that they love money. That's understandable. I mean it's what gives them power. But no matter how much money they have, they can't buy fresh air. And while they can buy fresh water--they won't be able to when it's all polluted up.

I don't think Bernie would have won the primary even without interference from the Democratic Party. If anything their interference probably made him MORE popular. And in fact if he HAD won the primary, that may have helped him as the underdog, and filled a message of being against the system. Obviously that wasn't their intent--and the DNC needs to get their act together and do away with Super Delegates at the very least.

It's not surprising, unfortunately. DeVos couldn't answer "Equal Accountability" to Tim Kain. But that was enough for most Republicans. Mostly because most of them probably hope kids trying to get an education have to go into debt, so fewer people will choose college. Personally I want a candidate that's pro public education next time. (Which means NO to corey booker)

Trump's comments about General Pershing are stupid for a few reasons:

#1. It's not true. For as much as he claims to revere History, he... doesn't really know it that well.

#2. It's assuming that the terrorists are actually devout Muslims, and not just extremists using the religion as a prop

#3. I'm pretty sure incidental contact with pork in Islam does NOT send you to hell. In fact I'm pretty sure they can actually eat pork if the only other option is starving to death.

#4. Even if it WAS a belief in Islam, and they were devout Muslims, they could rationalize it away. "Allah will forgive us if we do it fighting infidels!"

I'm not surprised. Most conservatives couldn't condemn nazis without attacking Antifa and BLM, so it's not surprising that they would approve of Trump's statement.

This is reducing people to their worst traits, while obliterating the context, thereby preventing any learning about how and why these things happened.

I'm pretty sure more is taught in History class than you can glean from statues--which are meant to honor people. So why is Robert E. Lee being honored? Did he win the war? Did he fight for a good cause? And why were those statues built in the first place?

Yes please.

Expand the sphere of influence the more you level up/the higher your population gets. Obviously that makes it hard to build gates, but there could be less focus on defending the town and more on building it up. At least until toward the end of the chapter. (Thus giving people more time to build up their defenses)

Season 1... hmm

Plot relevant episodes (Major spoilers for all 12 seasons)

Pilot is obviously important. Jess's death, plus Sam and Dean start their search for their dad. Not to mention Mary's death.
Skin introduces Shapeshifters, and has Dean wanted by the FBI.
Home is probably a must watch
Asylum is probably necessary, since John calls at the end.
Scarecrow introduces Meg
Faith introduces the Reapers
Nightmare introduces special children and Max
Shadow gives us Meg and John
Hell House introduces the Tulpa
Something Wicked has a little backstory for Sam and Dean
Dead Man's Blood has them getting their hands on the Colt
Salvation is part 1 of the Finale
Devil's Trap is the finale

Other episodes with some relevance: (Major spoilers for all 12 seasons)

Wendigo has Tommy who appears later, though that's not TOO important.
Benders is probably not that important, but it is the first episode with human enemies
Route 66 is terrible, but I think Dean mentions the Racist Truck later. But not really important.
Provenance isn't too important, but Sarah does appear later
Bugs is also terrible, but is brought up by Chuck.

5 > 11 > 4 > 3 > 10 > 2 > 12 > 6 > 1 > 9 > 7 > 8

Just a rough ranking.

6 is helped by the French Mistake, and the fact Season 1 had the Racist Truck and Bugs. Also it's so obvious now that they were still working on the Demon Mythology back in season 1. CHRISTO! CHRISTO! (then they never use it again)

As far as villains go...

I don't think Crowley makes a great villain so much as he makes a good Frenemy. He's a great character, and Mark Shepard did a fantastic job. It'd be really hard for me to rank the Supernatural characters. Castiel and Dean at the top obviously. After that it's hard. You've got Crowley, Lucifer, Death, Sam, Bobby... oddly there's no female characters probably in my Top 10 (though Jo, Ellen, Rowena and Jodi may come close and maybe The Darkness). Supernatural has some good female characters, but no really great ones. They have a shot with Mary, but she's been almost as bad of a mother as John was as a father.

Lucifer kills a ton of Norse Gods. Sam says Yes to Lucifer. Sam jumps into Hell, after Dean tries to save him. Dean tells Sam to FIGHT THE FAIRIES! Sam and Dean come to the real world (ish) and find out there's a show about their lives. Hola Mishamigos! You have an Alpaca? Castiel becomes a God. Death tells Castiel he's no God. Chuck agrees to help them fight his sister. God, Lucifer, Sam and Dean, the demons, angels, and witches vs The Darkness. (And the Darkness wins). Mary Winchester comes back. Castiel kills the Reaper who wants to take a Winchester. Dean kills Hitler. Dean tells everyone he killed Hitler. Castiel and Lucifer Jr vs Dagon. (Though I do wish Lucifer Jr were a girl...)

I've been watching this show for almost half of my life. It's been 12 seasons, and it's been a hell of a ride. And it's had its ups and downs. There were a few weak seasons. But just like Sam and Dean Winchester, just when you thought all was lost, the show manages to pick itself back up and kick some ass! These are two brothers you do not want to mess with. It doesn't matter if you're a demon, a werewolf, a vampire, the devil himself, or even a god. These brothers find a way. And somehow after 12 seasons they're still finding ways to make them even more awesome. It's kind of funny to go back and watch some of the old seasons and see how Jensen and Jared have changed in 12 years. They look so young back then. THey dont' really look old now--but you can tell they've aged. I mean it's been 12 years of course they've aged. The show has featured a large cast of characters, many of whom don't make it. Hunting is a dangerous job, but someone has to do it. And Sam and Dean are probably the best two for the job. And they always do it in style--with their 1967 Chevy Impala. The show isn't a comedy-drama, but it has some of the funniest moments ever. And that's one of the things I absolutely love about this show. It's funny, it's scary, it's exciting, it's sad, it can make you feel every emotion under the sun. It's had a lot of great enemies over the years. The four horsemen of the apocalypse. Crowley. Lucifer. And no matter what's thrown against them, Sam and Dean find a way to succeed. Oh, and the music... oh gosh the music. It's basically all your parents favorite songs. Carry On Your Wayward Son being the best of them. Each season (except the first) begins with a ...The Road So far, along with that classic hit song by Kansas. It's something I always look forward to every May. This is a show that I'm going to really miss when it's gone. I know it won't last forever. But I think as long as the main two actors want to do it, they'll keep going. The writers, creators, and everyone has done a truly fantastic job to build what is easily my favorite show. Also the show has added Gank to my vocabulary. Gank, brought to you by the letter G. I used to rewatch this show every summer, but it's gotten too long now.

Spoiler Free Thoughts:
Buffy is my second favorite show, and it's one that I actually like most of! It's got a few weak episodes here and there. But it's still an amazing show. I remember growing up, I didn't get to watch the show every week. My older siblings would always take the TV. But ever once in a while, I got to see this show--and I loved it. Then I went back and rewatched it. And rewatched it. ANd rewatched it again. I don't even mind Dawn. I know most people can't stand her, but she didn't bother me too much. I was expecting something much more awful. The show has made me laugh, it's made me cry, it's made me excited.. it's done everything I like a show to do. And it's got a fantastic cast of characters. Giles, Buffy, Anya, Xander, Willow, Spike, are all pretty great characters. And the Big Bads are all fantastic too. I don't even mind ADAM too much. And Nathan Fillion was great as Caleb. There aren't really that many female heroes that really stand out on their own. I mean when was the last time Wonder Woman even got a movie before this past year? Katniss Everdeen didn't come on to the scene until recently. You have some of the X-men at least, but those movies are always more about Wolverine. It's nice to see a female action hero get some real attention. And she's not just another character turned male to female. She's Buffy. Always and forever. The show is a lot of fun, and has a lot of fun with itself. If I ever had a daughter, i'd probably name her Buffy, except I have a niece named Buffy so I can't. Buffy struggles with being the slayer, and is practically always marked for death. Yet with help from her watcher and friends, she's able to survive. It's her will to have a normal life in the end that really helps her survive. Because you need something to live for. The show is far from perfect--no show ever is. But it's a fantastic and truly enjoyable show. I love the mythology of it all, the characters. I'd love to see them do a Buffy TV sequel. Maybe on Netflix. She could reasonably have a daughter around now that's starting high school. (Wow that's kind of scary to think about)
Spoiler Thoughts:
Glory is my favorite big bad, though the mayor is probably second. I even like the first evil, and the master. I think one of my favorite moments is probably when Buffy kills the Judge with a rocket launcher. Joyce's death really made me cry. Especially when Buffy goes to pick Dawn up from school. And THAT is why I don't mind Dawn's character. Also I always felt that Buffy's power level changed from the start of the season to the end. Early on, she'd have trouble with simple vampires (Like when she first starts to college? How the hell did she have trouble with that one Vampire?) but by the end of the season she could take out an army of Vampire Gods. I think that's one of my few problems with the show. Dark Willow was a pretty great storyline, though I wasn't a huge fan of that resolution personally. Anya was some great comic relief, though her relationship with Xander ended tragically.

"We have five million Cybermen. How many are you?" "Four." "You would destroy the Cybermen with four daleks?" "We would destroy the Cybermen with one dalek!" Then later, Rose beats it with: "Five million Cybermen, easy. One Doctor? NOW you're scared." The Doctor punishes the family of blood by spreading them across time to punish them. The entirety of Blink. "Don't blink. Whatever you do, don't blink." The entirety of Midnight, with the creepy repeating creature. Rose sends the Doctor a message with BAD WOLF absolutely everywhere. The 10th Doctor's regeneration. The 11th Doctor chases away the Atraxi by telling them to see if this planet is protected (and it is, by him!) "Sorry, Sorry, dropped it. Hello, Stonehenge! Could you all stay still a minute because I AM TALKING! Now, the question for the hour is, "Who's got the Pandorica?" Answer: Id o. Next question: "Who's going to take it from me?" Come on, look at me! No plan, no bakckup, no weapons worth a damn, oh, and something else I don't have: Anything to lose! So, if you're sitting up there in your silly little space ships iwth all your silly little guns, and you've got any plans on taking the Pandorica tonight, just remember who's standing in your way! Remember every black day I ever stopped you, and then, AND THEN, do the smart thing! Let somebody else try first." Rory stuffs Hitler in the Closet. The Doctor reveals he used the Tesselecta to save himself so River wouldn't have to kill him. The Doctor tells the story the The Rings of Akhaten. Spoiler Free Thoughts:
He's like fire and ice and rage. He's like the night and the storm in the heart of the sun. He's ancient and forever. He burns at the center of time and can see the turn of the universe. And... he's wonderful. (Or I guess I should say Zhe because we now have a Female Regeneration!) Doctor Who is my third favorite show. It's got a long history. And it's all about The Doctor and the Tardis (his big blue box that he stole from Gallifery years ago) that travels through time and space. It might never get him where he wants to go, but it always gets him where he needs to be. The show has had its ups and downs over the years. (I've not seen much of Old Who though). But it's still a great show. It's got a lot of great recurring enemies (The Daleks, Sontarans, Cybermen, Weeping Angels, and so many more), and a lot of one time enemies too. Like the Vashda Nerada, The Midnight Creature, The Beast, and a few others too. You never know what the show is going to throw at you next. And The Doctor takes it all on, not with brute force--but with his (or her) cleverness. The Doctor is nothing if not Clever, and that's why his/her enemies fear him/her. The Doctor is mostly a pacifist--but a genocidal one that will NOT hesitate to wipe everyone out if they don't take the peaceful option. Of course given the chance he'll also try his hardest to save EVERYONE. The Doctor has had many faces, and many personalities, but is essentially the same person underneath. And each Actor has done a fantastic job at the role. Which is truly impressive when you think about it. My personal favorite is the 11th Doctor so far. But I like them all. Some of them took time to grow on me--Tennant and Capaldi. But they always did in the end. I think the doctor has some of the best badass boasts ever. Like "I'm the Doctor, and you're in the biggest library in the universe. Look me up." The show has created a vast universe, and it's one that I really like a lot. I was never able to get too much into Star Wars. But Doctor Who? That I can get into. I'm not sure why. But it's an awesome show, and who knows how long it'll be going on. I just hope to be there for the 100th anniversary. If only I could find a blue telephone box... Oh yeah and the music's awesome.

#4: Warehouse 13
Network: SyFy
Genre: Sci-Fi
Available: Nowhere
Favorite Character: Claudia Donovan
Favorite Episode: Emily Lake
Premise: Government Agents track down mystical artifacts and store them in Warehouse 13

Spoiler Free Thoughts:
Warehouse 13, a world of Endless Wonder. Yeah, probably not what most people were expecting, but I honestly love this show. Two secret service agents Pete and Myka are transferred from Presidential Detail to something more important--a warehouse in Univille South Dakota. Back during the days of Alexander the Great, the first Warehouse was constructed. And in that warehouse they stored dangerous and magical artifacts. Since then the Warehouse has moved 12 times, before arriving in the United States. Usually it was located in the nation that was the most powerful at the time. Each week the agents of Warehouse 13 track down whatever's ruining the world's day, and snag it, bag it, and tag it. I particularly like this Haiku someone wrote: It's Like SCP/But instead of Weird Creatures/It's a whole lot worse. Most of the artifacts have some historical significance to them. Such as Catherine O'Leary's cow bell (which causes immense fires) Abraham Lincoln's Hat (which makes you want to free black people) Harriet Tubmans Thimble (which lets people take the form of other people) Pavlov's Bell (which will make dogs come straight to you, but you'll be slobbering for 24 hours), Jimmi Hendrix's guitar (which shoots lightning) and the Donnor Party Glass Jar (which causes anyone who puts money in it to starve) and so many more. The show is a lot of fun, and has a good cast. Along with Pete and Myka is Artie, who is sort of the leader. He's older, and has seen a lot of agents come and go from the Warehouse (of course most former Agents of the Warehouse are either crazy, dead, evil, or some combination of all 3.) Claudia Donovan also joins pretty early. She's a computer wiz who often messes around with things she absolutely shouldn't. And later we get Jinks, who can tell when people are lying. The show was screwed by the network, getting only six episodes in their final season to wrap up the show. But somehow they managed to do a pretty good job of ending it. Even with executive meddling at the end pushing Pete and Myka together.. It was hard for them to resolve everything, but they managed to do what they could and came up with a pretty good ending. The show also makes quite a few references to other stuff in Sci-Fi and supernatural shows. I mean they Kaylee and Simon from Firefly, as a couple? James Marsters and Anthony Head both show up too. It's another show that I don't think has any really bad episodes. The show is less about villains, and more about the artifacts--though the show does have a few big bads. Usually people who know about Artifacts, and want to use them to their own ends. Oh yeah, and a lot of it is Steampunk which is pretty cool. Tesla Guns are awesome! Especially since they erase the last 5 minutes of memory.
Spoiler Thoughts:
Jinks death, though it's later undone, is still one of my favorite death scenes. That scream from Allison Scagliotti was fantastic acting. And Eddie McClintock does a great job in the scene, because you almost immediately know what's going on. And it's just really good selection of music too with Running Up That hill/Deal with god. I still cry every time, even knowing he's coming back. Sykes is a great villain. He just kills Jinks for no good reason. It's also painful when Artie tells Pete he'll remember him dying--even after resetting the timeline. And Evil Artie going crazy... a lot of really good episodes. Even H.G. Welles sacrificing herself was well done. Good redemption arc for her after nearly destroying the world.
