Yeah the PC is the only major platform not getting it, other than the 3DS which can't handle it. It makes sense for the western audience.

I'm really tempted to import DQXI 3DS to see how far I can make it despite not knowing any Japanese. Might as well put my Japanese 3DS to use. The reason I got one was to play theatrythym dragon quest so it seems fitting here

I just want bigger areas to build in story mode. I always had trouble building everything they wanted me to without running out of room. And couldn't build each person a house.

I played some dq11 3ds and came to the conclusion that the ps4 version is the clear way to go.

See, this is one of the things I think a better camera would fix. In Cantlin, I ended up trying to build underground rooms, and it was just so fiddly. A decent first-person mode, or at least an option to move the camera in close enough that you can see what's going on while under a roof, would make multi-level construction so much easier.

Although obviously a bigger footprint would be good too. Maybe have it get bigger as the level/population increases, to give even more of a sense that you're growing a tiny settlement into the start of a thriving community.

it also makes sense because these kinds of games sell like crazy on PC. there's no reason it shouldn't be on PC.

there should only be three gaming devices: mobile, some dedicated home device (ideally with a portable option), and PC. all of them should have access to Dragon Quest games.

Yes please.

Expand the sphere of influence the more you level up/the higher your population gets. Obviously that makes it hard to build gates, but there could be less focus on defending the town and more on building it up. At least until toward the end of the chapter. (Thus giving people more time to build up their defenses)
