| MrSmartGuy 04/20/17 7:54:21 PM #12 | Yeah, the series has been called Everybody's Golf for just as long, if not longer than it's been HSG. I don't like the change, but whatever, it's just a name. The courses look great. I saw one in the middle of a city. One kinda looked like the desert course in World Invitational, but had a midwestern US vibe to it with water towers around. One looked like an archipelagos course, which should be really fun, though tough. Another looked to be in a knockoff Hollywood. I can't wait to try these out. The $40 price point makes sense. Hopefully there's a decent amount of courses again. I think HSG4 had at least 9 courses, whereas the two after both had 6, then added DLC courses. World Invitational started with 6 and started at $30 IIRC, so hopefully they don't stick us with only 6 again. I guess we'll see. This may seem shallow, but I don't like the avatar thing. One of HSG's best aspects is the quirkiness of all the characters. I don't think they've really told us much about their original characters, so I hope they didn't skimp on those. I was so tempted to put the dust in to make the quest, but told myself I'd wait a week before crafting any Legendaries so I don't have a Don Hancho 2.0 situation. It's been hard to hold back because I want to play that, Value N'zoth Priest, and Murloc Shaman really bad, but didn't pull the cards to make any of them happen. It seems like I'll do just fine without those, though. Judging from the Hearthstone streamers I've watched, the only one of those three that hasn't been terribly disappointing is the Value Priest (which would've been my first guess as to which of the three would turn out bad), so good job saving 1600, me. I've been just fine, now that Handlock has come back. Only thing I had to craft for that was a second Faceless Shambler, which is no big deal. | MrSmartGuy 04/06/17 8:40:53 PM #111 | Got 2 Legendaries in 32 packs and they were both ones I really wanted: Open the Waygates and Elise. It was a nice Za Warudo Mage starter pack. Took it for a spin and won my first game by a hair. I needed a lot of things to go right. Mind Control off of Kabal Courier to deal with a 6/14 Ysera, Priest got an Ice Block off of Shifting Shade, but it got both Counterspell'd (from Babbling Book) and Mana Binded over to me for my third Ice Block (of which all 3 were broken), and he didn't play his Amara again after bouncing it back the first time for Taunt on my final do-or-die turn, so I could play the full Giant/Giant/Alex combo for the win. A thought that hadn't occurred to me until just then, for some reason. If the second Arcane Giant had been the last card until the second to last card, I would've lost even if I had it in my hand, because Time Warp giving you another turn means you still draw another card, and I would've fatigued myself to death at 1HP.
