yeah, in fighting scenes they do that to make up for shortcomings in action scenes so the stars don't fuck each other up trying to make it look realistic, so they gotta use "tricks" and stuff.

The Raid 1 and 2 don't cut every second. It's not some continuous shot but you can see what's going pretty clearly.

I can understand because these are the best fighters left in Westeros, but at the same time it doesn't make for good TV. Hardhome was a million times better. The sheer berserker moves by the dead was great TV. Same with the cave seen with Bran where the skeletons were all running on the ceiling.

But this? Meh.
