I've never had it done tbh so I'm not sure. A guy at my work had it done a while ago and from what he's told me, it helped him quite a bit. He was on the verge of suicide some nights because of it. He said it was causing his depression and he had completely stopped having sex. I don't know if this is your case or not it just reminded me of it. That was never suggested as a possible cause. My therapist thought the depression was caused by me being abused as a kid, having no self esteem, and total lack of social interactions. He seemed to think making friends and dating would go a long way in fixing it. It's not like I'm dysfunctional or anything though. I have a healthy drive, and everything works, just there's no orgasm at the finish lol. Mine was with my ex who I thought I hated and had not seen in 10 years. --- Gears of War 1 Assassination Legend
