CJD. Well, according to the X-Files episode "Our Town", if the show can be trusted as a source of medical advice.

I think that was just one dude that happened to have a rare disease and then the people eating him caught that rare disease. Not that eating people just naturally gave them the disease.

Coming up with these contrived scenarios as if they're the norm is dishonest.

No one's saying it's impossible, but it discourages voting. Walking thirty miles, then standing in line for god-knows how long, then walking another thirty is a huge pain in the ass and you know it.

There's the gay uncle hypothesis where gay people will care for their nieces/nephews while not having kids to eat up resources.

Or the idea whatever does cause homosexuality helps people who have some of those traits without actually being homosexual.

I'm a rat in the Chinese zodiac apparently

Left out Tiger because it essentially does nothing. It's said to balance out the other eleven talismans and its only practical effect is that if you break it in half, whoever's holding it will be split into their good and evil halves. Combined Dragon and Pig because they're very similar.

And just to make the Rat's powers clear: if, for example, you brought a Superman doll to life, it would have all the powers of Superman.
