I am now up to $441 in coins and currency I believe can net money over face value(usually a few bucks. some might be 10-15 more maybe but thats it for now until i find a mega score), the majority of which was bought out of my cash drawer at work.

I post about a lot of things, but I do like to post about tobacco.

Why do I like weird forms of tobacco? I dunno, im just interested in trying new things that are different. I like seeing what products give me a buzz or what things taste like.

just for the record I have never once smoked a cig. Thats not where my motivations lie, which is why I only use oral tobaccos or nasal snuff. I'm not interested in cigs though.

Chimo el toro is a tobacco product that is very hard in consistency. It is placed under the tongue and is let sit there to dissolve.

It is sold in a bright red and yellow tin, which is round and small, and features a drawing of a bull on the front. Under the bull it says "calidad y sabor" This tin features no warning label whatsoever.

Upon opening the tin, you notice it is nearly rock hard. It is dark brown if not black in color. The smell is hard for me to describe. It is not unpleasant. smells a touch salty, but like some kind of...perhaps grain cracker. I don't know.

The product is difficult to handle. While there is no packing issues whatsoever like other oral products have(it is nearly infused together. all of it), it is tough to pick at and actually...use. You can squeeze the sides and the mass is supposed to pop out, but I cant get that to work. So, Im using a pointy object to lift the brick from the sides. it is tough to get a slab off, but once you do by rubbing it and twisting, you roll it into a ball. size of a pea.

It is then placed under your tongue. The flavor hits immediately. This has a very dark taste, almost like vege or marmite. or perhaps a beef broth cube licked raw. If you enjoy those flavors, expect it to be extreme and to hit hard and fast. It dissolved under your tongue in a pool of saliva and you must spit. It can cause the under tongue area to burn or feel a tad numb.

This is supposed to carry quite a punch in term of nic. About three minutes ago I put in a pea sized ball, first time a regular portion. I am now buzzing pretty hard. If you like a nicotine buzz, this is the product for you.

Overall: not bad. To an outsider, probably disgusting but to a dipper it wouldnt be terrible. just maybe a bit too extreme

So I spent 8 dollars for twelve small tins of a venezuelan tobacco product, chimo el toro.

I ordered it in march, figured it was never coming but here it is. I honestly dont even care about this any more since i assumed it was mia, but now i have 12 tins.

So basically this product is molasses-like thickness, you pinch of a piece, roll it into a ball and place it in your lower lip. aparently it packs a punch and dissolves in your mouth.

I did open one tin and it kinda smells like salty molasses but kinda faint. not a terrible smell. I will try this later though.

I dunno. for me I get a bit of a headrush and feel a little more energetic for a little. I dont know what im supposed to be feeling though. I've always enjoyed the headrush and smell of these things.

but I dont know how it works on a smoker/person addicted to nic, though. I dont consider myself addicted to nic since I pretty much choose when and how I consume it. if I dont want any I dont have to have any and i feel just fine. Like, say you were craving a cig, maybe a few big pinches of this and youd have no craving? i dont know.

Another thing is, on days with clear and defined smells, such as a damp fall day, some scents really accentuate to mood and it "colors" the air around you. The berwick brown is kind of a woodsy smells anyways so doing that in the fall makes this smell great. I dont know.

the main appeal to me, as somebody who has never smoked cigs, is the smell. Some of these flavors, and indeed the vial of berwick brown, smell amazing. Its also interesting because some of these have weird scents i've ever smelled before, so its like something new. It can also "flavor" your nose if youre in a smelly position like, i dunno, walk outside and see a buncha smelly deer shit or something. i dont know.

I cant speak for what it does to people who do smoke and are massively addicted to nic(dont know if that applies to you), but people do use this to stop smoking.

I would assume people who routinely use this stuff take small pinches every so often. I saw a guy say somewhere he takes 75-100 small pinches a day.

i also dont know how tough to take these ones are, because when I first started it was rough on the nose for a little but i quickly got used to it.

But I do recommend that as a beginner less is definitely more.

yeah it is finely ground. There are some varieties you are at risk for accidental inhalation if you sniff the tin too close. Not this kind though. But it does go easy with little force, which is why I always stress inhale, not snort.
