You get two types of people, people who know the price must be wrong but are using that to their advantage, and people who really are too stupid to notice if that was actually the price we couldnt keep it in stock fast enough for demand.

Well it didnt go any higher unfortunately so it sold for $107.69

Well I lost money on this one, but again, now i know what not to do in the future.

To be on the safe side the sign should mention per 12 pk, but it just seems so obvious the price is for one.

You can even see on most displays boxes either empty or with only one in then.

Now these are displayed in one of those small 1-2 inch cardboard boxes, and are usually two 12-packs.

the sign above it says 5.98. Some people think this means for both, but it doesnt. It seems obvious to me each one is sold individually and that they are displayed in those short boxes because you cant stack these 12 packs on top of each other the way they are sold like the boxes allow. That would also be an exceptional deal and if it was that price we wouldnt be able to keep the shelf filled.

Am i correct in thinking people who think the price is for both are weird? Once in a while people flip out over it. The thing is, I just know its a 12 pack. Even outside of working retail it just seems obvious those are display boxes and not 24 pack boxes.

But I did buy one from a russian company recently, its an automatic watch. the box included russian newspaper as wrapping and some russian chocolate.

Article IIII: This customer has been known to lie about things certain associates do or say when talking to other associates. Article VII: This customer has been known to intimidate employees to get them to do what they ask, either by complaining or threatening to call 1-800 store when we do not allow this customer to scam us, or if this customer feels they are being watched.


Article VIII: This customer has been known to scan coupons at the self checkout registers, but not insert them into the coupon slot when finished.


Article IX: This customer causes associates at our store to feel uneasy and on edge when they notice the customer in the store, as a result of their demeanor and constant scamming. It makes associates uneasy and nervous when they have to wait on this customer, because you are never sure how this customer is going to act, or what they are going to do, or how they are going to scam the store that day.


Article X: The customer has been known to go to the service desk and ask for a refund on an item she did not receive at the checkout. This customer has been known to not want a replacement for it but rather a full refund. Usually this customer uses self checkout for her purchases, in addition this customer generally has a certain set of items they like to buy, which is never the same as the items they claim they did not receive.

Article XI: The customer has been known to pull scams such as the ones outlined above, for a period of several years into the current day.

The purpose of this letter is to inform you of a customer who comes into the store several times a week, sometimes multiple times a day, and scams us. The name of the customer is <redacted>, however throughout this letter they will be referred to as "the customer." Included in this letter is a list of offences the customer has committed. None of these are one time offences, some have been going on for years. Also included are the signatures of customer service managers, service desk employees, and cashiers who have waited on this customer before, to prove there are several people at our store who witness the fraud the customer commits. When the customer comes in the store, as noted earlier, it can be several times a week, sometimes multiple times a day. Every time this customer walks into our store they either get something for free or reduced price by using coupons they shouldn't be using or ones that are not for the correct item. Sometimes this customer returns the items to get their money back, thus getting paid for an item she got for free using a coupon such as one dollar off a three pack of a certain item, while buying a single pack. The customer knows the self checkouts accept certain coupons even if they are not for that exact item. The profit motive is the number one goal of store, and this customer actively causes us to lose money, which results in lower bonuses for employees. The customer also hurts the store in another way. While the customer is checking out, if its a manned register, the customer can tie up the register for ten minutes while the customer argues over coupons or tries to scam us in a variety of ways, which can result in lower survey scores(people having to wait longer) which hurts the store not only in employee bonuses, but shows store corporate our store isnt doing that well. The customer usually comes in the evenings, when we generally do not have that many registers open, so losing one for ten minutes can be critical. Listed below is a list of offences I, as well as other employees, have witnessed in person. I have asked each associate to initial each offence if they've seen it happen, and have asked each associate to sign at the bottom of this letter. Management of course reserves the right to take whatever action or inaction they choose with this information. It is our job as associates to respect that decision.

First two had none, third bank had eighty dollars worth. I said I would take em all.

regardless, if i got a job as a bank teller I would change my appearance to fit. I wouldnt be happy I'd have to cut my luxurious locks, but at the same time a job is more important

If I am asked to make changes for my job I would.

But I dont see on what grounds they could ask me to get a haircut if its always kept tidy and in a ponytail, which it normally is, unless they also ask females to do the same.

I know one of the things I'd need to work on is rejecting people if I cannot fulfill their request. working retail for a major chain, there is some leeway. policy states one thing, but if the customer complains you can sometimes just go "eh, okay i can do this just once" or something but at a bank thats your job you just lost. I know you have to be way more professional and on point, which I am at my current job. But I would have to be way way more steadfast.

I have 7 years retail cashiering experience, so as far as me being able to do the job, absolutely i could.

I did a cursory search, I might have to take a pay cut to be a bank teller(I make 11.25 now), but there is probably much, much more room for pay increases and bonuses, i assume. So it'd be like taking a temporary pay cut but I'd probably soar higher than I currently am quicker.

Whats it like? Been thinking since I am now into currency and coins, why not be a cashier but deal with stuff I enjoy playing with? thats also a fairly respected position? Seems enticing to me. I dunno.

And? All that means is that you can dispute charges based on it being invalid whenever you want to. Since places don't even check, it's even easier to dispute charges. You're not really making a point against it, here.

My point against writing see ID is you arent helping yourself stay secure, and all the major credit card issuers(visa, mc, etc) say this is a bad idea. They instruct merchants to treat it as an unsigned card, and the cashier has no obligation anyways to check for ID, even if you want them to.
