Yeah I was blown away last year by how good it was, and the fact that it was actually a goddamn game, unlike Minecraft.

If you have a world with Corruption instead of Crimson, then later on when you get some way into hard mode, be prepared to create a second, temporary Crimson world to power through until you get to hard mode and then start fighting a particular monster that drops a health restoring melee weapon, the Vampire Knives.

I like to wear a elaborate Jar Jar Binks costume and mask as part of my every day life. I went to the grocery store, and saw how depressed everyone was so I thought I would help. I started dancing in the aisles, and yelling at people, and running up to people and taking things out of their cart. It was great fun. Then when I went to check out, there was only one lane open and a long line. I screamed and screamed while in line and danced, bumping into other people. I opened a box of baking soda and threw it around. Finally I got to the checkout. I started making noises at the cashier, and I kept pressing buttons on the computer. Some people in line were groaning because the line was getting very long, but that gave me even more incentive to make them laugh. I climbed onto the table and started kicking peoples groceries on the floor and singing. The manager and one of his goons pulled me off and said I could never shop there again. Can I sue for harassment or possibly assault?

Evidently it is a hassle to get a hold of their own ROM files stored away somewhere since they lazily reused the ROMs from The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition for their Wii Virtual Console release.

Not sure what you mean by puzzle-based. The bonuses are harder to find than in previous games (some are totally out of the way), but there are no actual puzzles.

He means how every single level has some kind of strange gimmick to it, with the exception of some early levels and maybe some of the secret levels added to the GBA version.

That's part of the appeal, so long as the writer is self aware when it comes to comic book tropes. You also have people like Geoff Johns who manage to write in that fan-servicy way, but at the same time write an overall good story under those constraints.
