I don't know how much the rest of you know about Japanese culture (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. There's always that one class that gets me. Seems this one will be it.

Two days in:

- Instructor speaks Spanish first, French second, and English third, so has a very heavy and hard to understand accent.
- Instructor is a mumbler and soft-spoken instructor.
- Just assigned 23 pages for this 200 level class. First paragraph felt nothing like a 200 class. Upon talking to him about it, he admitted that he takes it a bit harder, but he claims he grades on a 200 level.
- My reading disability will probably set me at 3 hours to read this and barely understand what the Hell I read.
- I HAVE TO take this class. No ways around it.

This topic's story is completely disingenuous. This is a story about a mother that self-medicated her child badly instead of seeking actual professional help, and screwing her kid up royally. Using this as a proof of why being trans as a child shouldn't be done is just lying through your teeth. If anything, this is proof of how there are parents that medicate their children illegally and should be punished.

Anyways, I see that I was called in randomly as a post-op witness. How can I help? Post-op regrets? Absolutely none so far. Life is pretty good so far. Can't talk much about standard sex yet, but oral is pretty nice.

Not really. Ask Taladashar (who used to post here), Sylph who DOES post here, or my co-worker. All three are post-op that I have talked to and all three don't regret it at all. Two of them told me sex has gotten better and that they'd do it again if they could.

And I'l definitely get back to you post-op. I'm thrilled. Those statistics can't be right. I want stats from trans people, fully accepted by friends and family, who have been in regret.

Being a transgender is purely cosmetic and nothing more. You're never really a male or female. You don't have the biological functions of the sex you transitioned into. Trans men still get periods. Trans women has a piece of meat as a penis.

That's why even after being fully transitioned, many transgender people still commit suicide. They realized that the change was cosmetic and it wasn't what they expected. Or they regret their decision and couldn't change back.

You should never let kids make these type of decisions when they're so immature. Most parents don't let their kids have a tattoo, but some are stupid enough to let them make a life altering decision.

It isn't light since I DID go through puberty. I speak not-too deep, but not mickey mousing either. I'm aiming to keep it on the lighter, or get it even lighter-er. Vocal therapy in a week or two. Waiting to hear back from the school up in Boston. Can't wait.
