Sorey can't cast magic but can have this ailment cured as stated in bold. Terra has Esuna. Pretty solid.

With Shulk's precog and Sorey and Seraphim frontlining, on an open air terrain like this Terra and Kefka's airborne status is very good. With a man who sees the future and Sorey providing distractions, Kefka and Terra can do some huge nuking.

Shulk won't have to worry about his magic casting back up for the most part so he can focus on Monado Arts that improve himself and Sorey. With Monado Speed lasting 12.5 seconds and Monado Armor at 15 seconds they can both evade and tank attacks far, far more effectively.

Tl;dr: Shulk and Sorey are incredibly formidable foes on land while Kefka and Terra are formidable in the sky. The only enemy mercs capable of reliably engaging Kefka and Terra is Sora who is probably not getting past the team of S&S&S (Shulk/Sorey/Seraphim) and Kirby who uh, got turbo sliced in the back by Shulk's Back Slash.
