That being said, I personally think we'd be better off without statues of past people, especially ones currently living. It seems more like a fitting practice for kings and dictators. Monuments sure, perhaps with a quote in large font.

She's a corporate Dem (which is not great but still better than... whatever her father is) and while I'm pretty sure she's dead inside and a sociopath I think she at least understands how to run the country. Certainly more intelligent and of a better temperament than her father.

What makes you think she's a Democrat?

She had said her views are more or less in line with her father's. Plus she's never been specific about her opinions on several of the issues besides maybe maternity leave and some child care issues.

In interviews she gives broad answers like a spokesperson and leaves it to everyone to fill in the blanks. Just because personality-wise she's calm, soft-spoken, and speaks coherently doesn't mean her political and moral views must also be the exact opposite of her father's.
