Well, it's not like his voters would care. It's pretty clear he adopted a "with me or against me" policy. While I think that's a dick move and bad for their business to refuse anyone because of bigotry, privately owned means privately owned, and you can't make anyone do something they don't want to when nobody is actually being harmed.

Certain classes are protected and you can't legally discriminate by refusing service. But given Trump's history of excluding certain races from his businesses I'm not at all surprised he supports this kind of thing.

where you say that it's not true regardless of age. Which says you think scummy things happen more often to teens when they're with an older person. Whatever the older person's age happens to be.

Adults have life experience in their side. Teens do not, not on the same level. That playing field is skewed and often exploitative. Take it from someone that was a teen girl dating an adult, and also had several friends dating adults in high school. It seemed cool then and feels gross now thinking about the adults that would do that. Like if a 25 year old friend said he was seeing a 16 year old here it would be legal. But it would feel wrong and I'd think so much less of him.

Pricing out what's available there is one of the base model Sparks that I could get for 12k out the door (including dealer fees and taxes)

The things Chevy includes are 2 years of free oil changes (4 changes), 5 years of roadside assistance, 5 years of OnStar basic.

When you're in the really low price models going with manual transmission can cut the cost down by a third. And spare you from a really shitty transmission. Currently drive an automatic but if I can shift on a bike I can do the same with a car

I want the lower price and the fuel economy. I don't necessarily need a subcompact. It's just that most of the lowest priced cars are the smaller ones or subcompact. I would definitely prefer the car on the smaller side.

My car is old and it's just starting to have all the things break. Repairs are adding up. Love that lil car but a 16 year old sporty German ride is hard on the perpetually light wallet.

I've been researching affordable small and subcompact cars that do well for short commutes and the occasional longer day trip on highways. Just want a safe and comfortable ride. I do not need a beast of a car, they can be too fun and hard on fuel. So the short list was:

Honda Fit: great car but higher end of price and few incentives
Mitsubishi Mirage: great fuel economy and warranty but weak and doesn't have great reviews anywhere
Nissan Micra: pretty cool but barebones and fuel economy is worse than many
Kia Rio: pretty capable car but they got really pricy damn
Chevy Spark: fancy electronics and safety features but engine is on the weaker side
Toyota Yaris: amazing fuel economy but higher price
Ford Fiesta: seems capable and less fuel efficient with few incentives
Fiat 500: great car a not so great cost
Mazda 2: cute car but Mazda also got way expensive and stopped offering this model

Right now I'm strongly leaning to the Spark or Micra. That's a shocker as I really didn't think a domestic model was going to be worth a look. Chevy seems to be hurting for customers and offering a lot of extras. Nissan still make a very affordable and capable little car.

Going to test drive some cars tomorrow and probably get a new one within the month, if not the week. We'll see how it goes. It's a bit exciting. It would be my first new car.

Anyone that has any of these cars I'd love to hear feedback. Or if I missed a worthwhile model that would be great to know too!

Bran HAS to have a win, he had such a boring journey and after all of that he did absolutely nothing this season. I can't believe that after all this time he became the three eyed raven just so he can tell Jon who he really is.

Wouldn't surprise me if that was his only purpose. I mean how else would Jon find out? Anyone else who actually knew is dead.

That would annoy me because I still don't think Jon will make it out of this series alive so I've never really cared about his parentage. I just don't see the show ending with Jon on the throne, I still believe there won't actually be a throne to sit on after the series ends.

Yeah I think he should be able to do more. The Jon revelation will be helpful, but he can definitely do more (especially considering he CAN (somehow) affect the past, like he did with Hodor)

There's a popular fan theory that Bran uses his warging abilities to travel back to become Bran the Builder and prepare for the long night, builds the wall and Winterfell, but ultimately something goes wrong and he becomes the Night King himself

So Bran is alcohol... The cause of and solution to all of Westeros's problems

That's what medicare and medicaid were for.

Not everyone can get those, unless I misunderstand the programs.

24 million aren't going to die immediately, and most of those probably will be fine without insurance. But even a few people losing coverage or being priced out and dying is a few too many. That's money over life, suffering and death that could be prevented.

Perspective is a bound to be a bit different. Healthcare does not have to be treated as a commodity like a car (or paid barrier like a toll road), it can be a universal service like driving on the public road.

So you're proving my point. The insurance companies obviously don't want the ACA repealed.

That's why the ACA was such a clusterfuck in the first place. It made it dependent on an even more flawed system than existed before - which is why people would like to go back to what we had prior to this shitshow. Unfortunately, that's likely never going to be possible.

Prior to the ACA millions of americans simply couldn't get insurance. They need to work out a better solution, not just gut what was put in place. This is leaving people with no option for healthcare and it is disgusting
