I've been saving Tifa this year, too, and I usually have one non-VIII character that I push every year. I mostly try to mitigate the damage done during boots (not very successfully this year) because it sucks seeing a cast you really like get booted and barred from returning for a year. I mostly prioritize Squall once boots are done, and I guess I'll exclusively prioritize him this year because I don't really have a partner helping me with Tifa. Although the situation would probably be even worse if I weren't trying to help VIII. --- |

He has eight top 25 finishes, with three of them being top 10s, including a victory over Yuffie in the finals of CX. He's struggled quite a bit in the last several contests though. He only has two upper half finishes since CXIII, and so he has steadily been declining in the STATS. With this finish, Zell drops from 64.76% to 61.65%, falling from 21st to 28th place overall. Because of his recent struggles, Zell's STATS are notably worse in the New Era. There, he takes a big tumble from 56.03% to 48.69%, sliding from 37th to 50th place. --- |
