I'm sick of "patriots" who are either complacent, willfully ignorant, or actively supporting the dismantling of American institutions. I'm sick of people celebrating "earning Ws" as the country begins to burn around them. I'm sick of people refusing to see giant red flags because the person waving the flags is on their "team." I'm sick of people who claim to hate government but are all too quick to see government overreach as long as it's against "the other." I'm just sick of it. I'm not going to retreat. I'm not going to stop the fight to see America become great -- not "great again," but "greater than ever." I'm an Eagle Scout ffs. But right now, I'm in a crisis of faith, not just for my country, but for my people in it. I need you guys on the right to see what I'm seeing. I think very few of you are truly evil people. I think you really believe that you're going to make America great again. I need to understand why you can view what's happened in these last few months -- the nepotism, the profiteering of the presidency, the alarming and constant ties to Russia throughout the administration, the incompetence, the shredding of the Constitution, the rise of neo-Nazism, the alarming traces of outright treason -- and honestly tell me why you think I'm not seeing what you see. Don't use crutches like "SJWs" to deflect or say "but the left are the REAL ____s." I don't care because they're not in power right now. They're not the ones with the ability to obliterate everything I hold dear. Tell me why I should have faith in you. Because I want to. But right now I can't. --- E come vivo? Vivo! |
